Seminar on WORLD PNEUMONIA DAY was organized by Department of Pediatrics, Liaquat college of medicine and dentistry and Darul Sehat hospital.

Welcome address by Prof. Dr Zafar Mehdi, HOD Pediatrics, LCMD& DSH.

Chief guest, Dr. Murtaza Ali Gowa, Associate Professor and Section Head Pediatric Intensive Care Unit , NICH and chairperson PPA Sindh Karachi Chapter shared the recent advancements in management of Complicated Pneumonia in children.

*Visit of UNICEF & Japanese Team at NICH.*

The visit of the *Unicef* with the Japanese delegation today at the National Institute of Child Health (NICH), Karachi, deligation headed by Acting Executive Director Professor Dr Mashal Khan and Dr Murtaza Ali Goa, Incharge Medical I.C.U and this visit organized by Doctor Murtaza Ali Gowa.

And the other team members of NICH who are welcome Team of *Unicef* namely
Prof.Dr Mohsina Ibrahim HOD Unit II, Dr Taj Muhammad Laghari, Dr Mehboob Noonari, Dr Badar, and many more,
On this visit,

Dr Murtaza Ali Gowa said that we are providing all the latest facilities free of cost in MISU, we do not have any cash counter here.

Dr Murtaza Ali Gowa also said that If the *Unicef* supports us, we want to build towers here, and install the latest equipment and facilities for the poor children of less privileges areas sindh and Pakistan.
