What they DON’T tell you -Teeth Whitening Pens ❌✅

Improvements over replacements! 🤩

The slimy layer of food particles, saliva and bacteria AKA PLAQUE isn't supposed to be treated with so much love!

Using soft or medium to toothbrushes for two minutes, scrubbing all it all around the teeth, is the single most important method to keep your teeth clean.

It's a matter of just FOUR minutes in the entire DAY. There's no better way to spend it.

Master yourself and Destiny becomes a matter of 'choice'... Not 'chance'

Nowadays, how often do we have time to enjoy our hobbies? Do we even have any? Look around and ask anyone and the usual answer is "food, travel, listening to music and reading"... Add a little "surfing the internet" too because I've seen that in CVs 🤪

Hobbies and pastimes help you shift focus and nurture "life-skills" that are ACTUALLY important for one's social, mental and physical well-being.

So then one wonders why people summit mountain peaks or go whale watching or create art or play a competitive sport at a serious level... While having a mentally exhaustive job or business. Doesn't it? Or are they all crazy?

Your best asset is you and your biggest investment should be YOU. Introspection leads to humility which helps to appreciate the beautiful life we all have ✅

So think about what you like doing... And give it another shot. You don't always have to win, but you have to just enjoy the game itself😎

A memorable selfie filled with mixed emotions today of the DDC Team, as our patients' favourite Dr. Sarah goes on a long leave 😎

Dr. Sarah has 16 distinctions in ALL 16 subjects of her BDS degree (This is my favourite line🤩). That's what landed her an interview here at DDC and her soft-spoken charming personality was the highlight of the interview. A few weeks down, I called her in for an internship leading to employment.

It didn't take too long before all the doctors and staff got along well with her and our patients became 'friends' with her and we haven't looked back ever since.

For me, personally, Sarah was an integral part of my team on which I rely on whether I'm in or out of office. She is loyal, dedicated, intelligent and a master conversationalist.. and very reliable.

In her own words, she hated me after the first interview because of my endless strict questions 🤪, but two years down, I hope I'm not that bad 😎

Because 'wilderness' is an absolute necessity! ... And thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home ⛰

The pilot over the PA system said ".. to your right the infamous peak of K2" and we all gazed out to see just one single peak piercing through the dense clouds.

As we approached Skardu Airport, we could see beautiful snowcapped mountains with the background of some clear blue skies to a U-turn just before we landed.

You could spend over an hour just absorbing the beautiful views the place had to offer

And the trip had JUST started 🤩🤩

The face you make, when you're looking for 4, and you're blessed with 2 more ✨✨

A patient came in today who had been prepping herself for her dental treatment for over two years. She knew she had multiple root canals and cavities and she knew she had to get it done before she travels out.

So what did we do? Decided to do two RCTs in a single visit on her upper first molar and second premolar, since they are neighboring teeth😎

Benefits?
1. There is only one-time local anesthesia for both teeth, so NO needle anxiety
2. The numbness eliminates any potential pain
3. After-care instructions and time is the same for both
So the patient was relaxed😴

I, on the otherhand was working double. But as my luck would have it, the molar that has 3 root canals, had an extra one; the second premolar that 70% of the time has 1 canal, had 2!🥳

So all in all filled 6 canals in an hour and a half.

Patient went back tired, but happy that she didn't feel any pain during the procedure 👍✅
