……has an exciting opportunity for experienced MSK physiotherapists to join our national team of First Contact Practitioners and deliver First Contact Practitioner (FCP) services in various locations.
Successful candidates will receive full clinical supervision and support aligned to HEE's A Roadmap to Practice.

What does the role involve?
· Utilising highly developed differential diagnostic skills to ensure patients are managed safely, efficiently and effectively within tight time constraints,
· Use of expert clinical reasoning skills to assess and diagnose complex and varied musculoskeletal patient referrals under time pressures.
· Onward referral of patients for suitable clinical investigations to facilitate diagnosis and treatment plan.
· Utilising digital exercise prescription software to promote patient self-management and minimise the need for pharmacological interventions.
· Complying with statutory regulations and current legislation, meeting quality standards, and delivering against quality and performance indicators
· Performing joint/soft tissue injections and joint aspirations (following appropriate training)
Who are we looking for?
Successful candidates will have a degree and will be HCPC registered with a minimum of 3 years’ post-registration physiotherapy experience and will be able to demonstrate appropriate Knowledge, Skills and Attributes (KSA’s) as outlined in Stage 1 of the HEE ‘A Roadmap to Practice’.
You must be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, autonomous within your role and an excellent communicator at all levels.
