Team IMIG SMC had the privilege of contributing to the 23rd Annual PESCON 2025, one of Pakistan’s leading medical conferences organized by the Pakistan Endocrine Society (PES). Over three consecutive days, IMIG members volunteered across multiple domains, assisting the PES team in ensuring the smooth flow of events and supporting participants throughout the conference.
Our volunteers actively facilitated both national and international speakers during workshops and scientific sessions, coordinated and managed over 100 new scientific memberships, and assisted in managing various aspects of the conference with dedication and professionalism.
IMIG members also had the honor of welcoming and escorting foreign delegates, helping them explore the historic and cultural heritage of Karachi, and creating meaningful exchanges beyond the academic program.
A proud moment for IMIG was the presence of three generations of IMIG leadership at PESCON 2025, a reflection of our organization’s enduring commitment to collaboration, service, and professional growth.
We are sincerely grateful to the PES President elect, Dr. Ali Asghar, for the kind recognition of IMIG’s contribution during the closing ceremony and for announcing personal appreciation letters for all our volunteers from the current president PES, Dr. Aisha Sheikh.
Special thanks to Dr. Urooj Lal Rehman, Patron-in-Chief IMIG, for her constant guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support throughout the event and beyond.
Team IMIG SMC also extends heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistan Endocrine Society for the opportunity to contribute to such a successful and inspiring event. It was truly a privilege to be part of an occasion that brought together excellence, learning, and community within the medical field.
