[Understanding Pain]
Pain is a blessing. It isn't merely an inconvenience; it's a messenger from our bodies, urging us to pay attention. A warning and an alarm that deeper issues need addressing. Yet, the quick-fix approach of pain relievers often masks the underlying problem, leaving it to fester.
[The Pitfalls of Pain Medications]
Long term use of pain relieving medications can have severe side effects that may not be reversible. NSAIDs and opioids. They offer temporary relief. NSAIDs are Non-steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs and Opioids are Synthetic Opioids Drugs. NSAIDs helps reduce the inflammation, hence helps in reducing pain with severe side effects of indigestion, stomach upset (including nausea or feeling sick) or stomach pain and long-term use can also cause ulcers and bleeding in the stomach and other parts of the gastrointestinal tract and can lead to death. Opioids are the second in line that mimic, natural substances found in the o***m poppy plant and work in the brain to produce a variety of effects, including pain relief. You get addicted once you starts consuming it regularly. These drugs are serious risk to your mental health with severe side effects that includes: sedation, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, constipation, physical dependence, tolerance, respiratory problems, altered thinking and forgetfulness.

Why are we more inclined towards Pain Management? Answer is simple, we want switch off the alarm that is indicating the bigger problem. To understand it more clearly. Imagine a security alarm sounding in the dead of night β would you silence it and return to sleep, or would you seek out the source of the disturbance? Similarly, our bodies sound the alarm of pain, yet all too often, we choose to mute it rather than address its root.

You can perform the following technique as a first step toward self-healing. Continue the patting therapy once or twice a day until the inflammation and pain disappear.
Step 1: Pat 100 time on both side (Inside & Outside) of your knee
Step 2: Pat 100 time Front & Back of your knee
Step 3: Pat 100 time on the front side/ face of your foot
Step 4: Pat 100 time on both side (Inside & Outside) of your foot
[How to check inflammation]
Take a pitting test or dip test.
Step 1: Apply the pressure on the affected area for few seconds with your finger.
Step 2: Check if it leaves the indentation/pit/dip (in case of inflammation) OR it rebounds back immediately (with NO inflammation).
