๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ warmly welcomed the distinguished guests, including ๐๐๐๐ค ๐๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฐ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ, Peek Global Partnership Lead Ms. ๐

He also expressed appreciation for the efforts of ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ก๐๐ฆ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ง, Pro-Vice Chancellor and DG COAVS, acknowledging his active role in advocacy, and in managing projects and programmes. ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ thanked him personally for inviting SIOVS to the event.
Prior to the seminar, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ, along with the visiting guests, was given a tour of King Edward Medical University, where he met the ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ณ ๐๐๐ก๐ฆ๐จ๐จ๐, as well as other faculty members.
๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ also participated as a panelist, speaking on the sustainable implementation of ๐๐๐๐ (๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐-๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐๐โ๐๐๐๐). He discussed the model adopted by SIOVS in sustaining IPEC in Sindh, where the Health Departmentโthrough SIOVSโhas created positions for optometrists at various levels of eye care across the province.
As National Coordinator, he reaffirmed his commitment to support and facilitate similar efforts in other provinces.
He further emphasized that the most effective implementation model, enabled through Peek, involves the development of PC-1s by all provinces to strengthen structured eye-health programming.
In closing, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐. ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ซ expressed strong interest in scaling up Peek technology programmes across Pakistan, noting that such tools provide an essential means to reach underserved and remote communities throughout the country
