🟡Infantile Colic
Infantile colic is a common condition that affects some infants , typically starting within the first few weeks of life and resolving by the age of 3 to 4 months.

🔸SYMPTOMS
Baby may have colic if he or she cries for several hours
Flushed face
Excessive gas
Burping often or passing a lot of gas
Curling up legs towards their belly when crying
Crying worse in afternoon and evening

🔸CAUSES
Food allergies or or intolerances
Gas
A developing nervous system
A growing digestive system with muscles that often spasm
A sensitivity to formula or breast milk
Acid reflux or stomach problem
Constipation

⭕️Homoeopathic Medicines
Chamomilla 30 (5 drops two to three times)
Irritability and restlessness with a tendency to cry uncontrollably, red flushed face, distended abdomen and may pass gas or have loose stools. Oversensitive to pain ,touch and noises.

Colocynth 30 (5 drops two to three times)
Restless, irritable infant whose symptoms of colic are relieved from firm pressure. The colic is caused by flatus ,undigested food or unripe fruits. Infants tend to bring knees upto their abdomen.

Mag Phos 30 (5 drops three times)
Intense, spasmodic abdominal pain with a sensation of cramping or twisting in intestines. The baby may pull up its legs to chest or arch the back during the colic attack, baby may have hard and bloated abdomen and restless.

Aethusa 30(5 drops three times)
Infants who can not digest milk . who vomits and have diarrhoea.

🔲Ringworm
Ringworm is a common skin infection that is caused by a fungus . Anyone can get ringworm.
🔳Symptoms
▪️Circular , ring shaped scales or plaques.
▪️Flat patches with a raised , round border.
▪️Itchy skin.
▪️Hair loss or bald spots in the affected area.
🔳Causes
Ringworm is a fungal infection . It is passed between people through direct skin contact and by sharing objects such as towels , hair brushes and bedding.
Pets such as cats , dogs can have ringworm and you can catch it by stroking them.

Tellurium is very effective for ringworm on face , whole body. Ring like lesions , offensive odors from the affected part . Itching worse in cool air.

In any case diagnosed with ringworm, this medicine is used as a first remedy . Ringworm in isolated spots. Ringworm on face.

🟤STYE
A Stye is a small bump along the eyelash edge of eyelid that may look like a boil or pimple.

SYMPTOMS
-Painful red lump
-Swelling of eyelid
-Crusting along the eyelid
-Light sensitivity
-Soreness and itching
-Tearing

CAUSES
A Stye is caused by a bacterial infection in your eyelid's oil producing glands. The bacterium Staphylococcus is commonly responsible for this infection.

HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINES

▪️ STAPHYSAGRIA 200
An excellent remedy for stye , this remedy is effective in all cases of stye whether it is chronic or acute. Itching in eyelids , swelling in eyes , pain in eyes,
Recurrent stye(occuring often or repeatedly).

▪️HEPAR SULPH 30
Red and inflamed eyes and eyelids , tendency for recurrence.
In the case of some children stye tend to secrete a discharge and are extremely painful.

▪️PULSATILLA 200
Pulsatilla is best for stye and it is prescribed at the beginning .
Thick , profuse , yellow discharges , itching and burning in eyes.
It has also been found useful in preventing reoccurence of stye.

▪️THUJA 200
Thuja is best for hard , condylomatous stye.

PREVENTION
Wash your hands
Take care with cosmetics
Make sure your contact lenses are clean
Apply warm compresses

Apply a warm washcloth to the eyelid for 10 to 15 minutes at a time , 3 or 4 times per day.
Applying heat with a warm tea bag compress to the stye for 10 to 15 minutes two to three times per day may help release the pus and heal the stye.
