CodeGirls Graduation Ceremony 2025: A Generation Steps Forward ✨
On a bright afternoon at National Incubation Center, Karachi 110 young women completed 188 trainings and stepped into a future they once thought was out of reach. With certificates in hand and courage in their hearts, they crossed the line from students to coders, creators, providers, and trailblazers.
The hall came alive with mentors, faculty, and partners — and the moment grew even more meaningful with the arrival of:
Dr. Hasnain Walji, Co-Founder & global educator
Chief Guest Mohamed Taki Jaffer, Chairman, JFF
Their presence reminded us that this milestone matters not just for these graduates, but for Pakistan’s future.
Co-Founder Shamim Rajani shared powerful numbers:
• 70% placement rate — among the highest globally
• High retention proving our alumnae thrive
• For under USD 400 per girl, each generates USD 2,014+ in earning potential
“This isn’t charity — it’s Pakistan’s smartest investment.”
Dr. Hasnain Walji offered a compass for the future:
“AI may be powerful, but wisdom, compassion, and courage — your courage — will always be undefeated.”
Chairman Mohamed Taki Jaffer expressed deep pride, reflecting on JFF’s support since the first 100 girls:
“This isn’t just a program — it’s empowerment in its purest form.”
The transformation behind this day belongs to:
Founders who imagined a different future,
Mentors who lifted every girl,
And the Jaffer Family Foundation, whose generosity opened doors for 1,000+ young women.
Every cohort begins with shy steps and quiet voices — and ends with confident, skilled, financially independent women who become the first in their families to earn with dignity.
When young women rise, Pakistan rises with them.
CodeGirls is no longer an experiment — it is a model, a blueprint, a beacon for women-in-tech.
On 4 December 2025, something shifted in Karachi — quietly, powerfully, beautifully. ✨
