PIMA Karachi Karachi Chapter of Pakistan Islamic Medical Association PIMA is a registered NGO with its own Constitution. Currently it has 80 branches.

Since its foundation in 1979 PIMA membership has steadily grown and now stands at over 4,000 full members.

On International Women’s Day 2026, PIMA, in collaboration with Jasarat Digital presenting a special session highlighting the real challenges faced by Pakistani Women Doctors.
Despite their dedication to healthcare, many females doctors work under difficult conditions such as low pay, long duty hours, lack of basic facilities in government hospitals, security concerns, and poor work-life balance. After a career break, many also struggle to resume their professional careers while managing home, professional, and academic responsibilities.
These challenges are discouraging many young doctors from continuing their careers in Pakistan. It is important for the government to ensure proper facilities, security, and effective policies for female doctors.

𝐏𝐈𝐌𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢 – 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩
PIMA Relief Karachi organized a Free Medical Camp at Syedabad, Malir Goth on 22 February 2026. More than 120 patients benefited from free medical consultations and basic health services.
•50 patients diagnosed with anemia, including women and children
•Patients screened for blood sugar
•Children received single-dose anti-worm syrup
•One-month free medicines provided to deserving patients
•Patients with chronic illnesses are referred to charity hospitals for further treatment
Health education sessions were also conducted on clean drinking water and cough hygiene.

PIMA Relief continues its commitment to providing free healthcare services to underserved communities.
