Heart problem during hajj Cardiovascular problems during HAjj is commonest cause of ICU /CCU hospitalization and death .

Hajj is a science ,which need further attention,especially after the data published by SCHIP,in which it has been well described that acute MI ( 22%) and cardiac arrest (40%) are commonest cause of deaths during Hajj. How ever with the introduction of mobile Cath Lab Mortality has reduced but there are still certain challenging problems .The most daunting challenge is how to identify , retrieve and saves lives of sudden cardiac arrest in crowd of 4 million people gather in Arafat ( White Ocean) and during mass movent of millions of people at one time from Arafat to Muzdalfa and while moving to jamrat.

Different type of Intermittent Fasting Like ,

6 Days of SHAWAL , After Ramadan it may be difficult to switch eating habit quickly ,so it may be fruitful to fast intermittent days after end of Ramadan. ( who fasted in shawal as fasted whole year ref: Abu Ayoub muslim .

Fasting twice a week ( Every Monday & Thursday ) is not only sunnah ,but in fact is said to be a healthy routine for your body.
It regulates metabolism and burn calories ( Narrated by Hazrat Aisha : Tirmidi & ibn Majah ).
The white days refer to 13th,14th & 15th of Lunar calendar ( Its like a fasting for life time ) Abdullah ibn Amr Bukhari & Muslim .
On Mondays and Thursdays Allah forgives every Muslim except two who have forsaken one another .

10th Muharram on day of Ashura ( Day Allah SWT saved Prophet Musa PBUH ) After the Ramada Ashura is the best day to fast ( Ibn Abbas ,Muslim )

For those not performing Hajj , Fasting first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah , in particular day of Arafah ( 9th o Dhul Hijjah ) ( Abu Qatadah Muslim ) It is an expiation for sins current & preceding year

Fasting is Forbidden after 15th of Shahban ,
Fridays ,days of Eid ul fitir & Dhul Hijjah

Intermittent ( Nafli ) fasting is a blessing in that it is a rewarded obligation, and yet has so many additional benefits that we know of, and so many that we do not yet know of.

Ramadan is a good training time for fasting, but think about how you can incorporate it into your life outside of Ramadan.
The fasting is great to start in heart patients or even healthy people for prevention of medical problems ! However, always be sure to discuss with your doctor before undertaking intermittent fasting .

According to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Islamic fasting is a shield to protect believers against sins and lustful desires.
Muslims who practice Islamic fasting abstain from eating, drinking, smoking, and s*xual in*******se from Sahur (predawn meal) to Iftar (sunset meal).

Muslims who are , intending to practice Islamic Intermittent Fasting throughout year will enjoy various health benefits, including
weight loss, reduced insulin resistance, blood glucose, and blood pressure, improved lipid profile, prevention of obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer, protection against neurodegeneration, and diminished inflammation.

Islamic Intermittent Fasting could also improve health span and extend life span. Therefore, it is generally considered safe for healthy individuals However, the heart patients must consult their physicians .
Therefore, fasting individuals are recommended to adhere to a balanced diet containing fruits and vegetables, whole grains, pulses, meat, fish, and dairies. In addition, they need to drink fluids abundantly, such as water, fresh juices, and soups to avoid dehydration during Islamic Intermittent Fasting.

After Ramadan Fasting no more samosa , pakora culture therefore healthy and compensated heart patients can avail opportunity to avoid deep-fried foods, sweets, and salty fatty foods ,last not the least zero to***co products and illicit drugs including alcohol please.
According to the current literature review, the health benefits of Islamic Intermittent Fasting could be sustained by leading a healthy lifestyle and practicing optional fasting regularly after the holy month of Ramadan twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.

In Sahur & Iftar Prefer a fruit, handful of nuts, or salads as snacks.
Fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre.

Broccoli-egg fritters, with olive oil and homemade bread, black beans and avocado on toast, lentil soup, low fat yogurts, fruit smoothies, grilled kebabs, baked snacks in place of fried snacks like samosas and cutlets, dates-oats kheer, cut fruits, sauted vegetables, curd rice, sprouts salad.
you can definitely benefit from Intermittent Fasting regime and gain maximum nutritional benefits.

Do not overload with food
while breaking the fast, ( at Iftar ) your body needs more fluid first. Hence, break your fast with lemon juice or coconut water for hydration. Avoid caffeine on empty stomach.
Avoid Eating a high caloric , Salty , sugary and oily meal
It can lead to indigestion and gastric issues. Try and avoid sweets, mithais, sugary drinks and bakery products.
Your Sahur & Iftar meal
should contain a source of complex carbohydrates which provides enough energy along with fibre and minerals.

ISLAMIC INTERMITTENT FASTING

Islamic Fasting is religious Obligatory prayer , from Allah SWT clearly recommended in holy book ( Quran ) . 1400 years back .

Non Islamic dietary plan is not obligatory & for limited period .
