🔴سفید موتیا سے کیا مراد ہے؟
🔸️آنکھ کا قدرتی عدسہ جو کہ تصویر کو پردہءِ بصارت پر مرتکز کرتا ہے۔ یہ تصویری نظام کا ایک اہم حصہ ہے ۔ اس میں عمر گزرنے کے ساتھ پیدا ہونے والی دھندلاہٹ کوسفید موتیاکہا جاتا ہے.

🔴سفید موتیا بننے کی وجوہات کیا ہیں؟
🔸️سفید موتیا بڑھتی عمر کے ساتھ آہستہ آہستہ بڑھتا رہتا ہے۔ اور یہی اس کی سب سے بڑی وجہ ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ آنکھ کو لگنے والی چوٹ، کچھ جسمانی امراض مثلاً شوگر(Diabetes) اور کچھ ادویات سٹیرائیڈ (Steroid) کی وجہ سے سفید موتیا زیادہ تیزی سے بڑھتا ہے۔ باز اوقات سفید موتیا پیدائشی بھی ہوتاہے۔

🔴سفید موتیا کی علامات کونسی ہیں؟
🔸️نظر کا دھندلا جانا، چیزوں کے ساتھ سایہ (Shade) نظر آنا اہم علامات ہیں۔ بعض اوقات ایک چیز کے دو عکس نظر آنے کی شکایت بھی ہو سکتی ہے۔ زیادہ بڑھ جانے کی صورت میں نظر میں کافی کمی ہو جاتی ہے۔ بہت زیادہ پک جانے اور علاج نہ کرنے کی صورت میں کالے موتیے کا حملہ ہو سکتا ہے۔

🔴سفید موتیا کا علاج کیا ہے؟
🔸️سفید موتیے کا واحد علاج صرف آپریشن ہی ہے۔ عوام الناس میں مشہور لیزر شعاعوں کی بجائے صوتی لہروں کے ذریعے موتیے کو گھلا کر نکالا جاتا ہے۔اور آپریشن کے دوران مصنوعی عدسہ کی تنصیب بھی کر دی جاتی ہے۔

🔴سفید موتیا کا علاج کب کروا لینا چاہیے؟
🔸️لوگوں میں ایک تصور پایا جاتا ہے کہ موتیا اچھی طرح پک جائے تب آپریشن کروانا چاہیے۔جبکہ یہ سراسر غلط ہے۔ زیادہ پک جانے کی صورت میں علاج مشکل ہو جاتا ہے اور کالے موتیے کا حملہ بھی ہو سکتا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ آپریشن کب ہونا چاہے اس کا فیصلہ ڈاکٹر اور مریض کی باہمی مشاورت سے ہوتا ہے ۔اس کا انحصار مریض کی نظر میں آنے والی کمی اور اُس کے روزمرہ معاملات میں پیش آنے والی دشواری پر ہوتا ہے۔

🔴سفید موتیا کا جدید طریقہ علاج کیا ہے؟
🔸️فیکو(Phaco) نامی جدید طریقہ عوام میں لیزر کے نام سے مشہور ہے ۔اس میں ایک خصوصی مشین کے ذریعے آواز کی لہروں (Ultrasound) سے موتیا ایک بہت چھوٹے سوراخ سے نکال لیا جاتا ہے۔ یہ طریقہ علاج بہت موثر اور مفید ہے۔ لیکن ہر مریض کے لیے قابل ِعمل ہونے کا تعیّن متعلقہ معالج ہی کر سکتا ہے۔ اس طریقہ علاج میں ایک خاص مادے سے بنا ہواعدسہ یا لینز( IOL )تہہ کر کے چھوٹے سوراخ میں سے آنکھ کے اندر ڈالا جا سکتا ہے۔ اس لئے ٹانکے لگانے کی ضرورت پیش نہیں آتی اور زخم جلد بھر جانے کی وجہ سے نظر کی بحالی کا عمل نسبتاً تیزی سے ہوتا ہے۔

🔴سفید موتیا کے علاج میں مصنوعی عدسہ کی کیا اہمیت ہے؟
🔸️آنکھ کے قدرتی عدسے کو آپریشن کے ذریعے نکال کر اس کی جگہ مصنوعی عدسہ (IOL) لگادیا جاتاہے۔ الحمدللہ اس طریقہ علاج سے قریب قریب 100فیصد کیفیت اور کمیت کے لحاظ سے نظر کی بحالی ممکن ہے۔

یہ ایک انتہائی غریب ریڑھی بان ہے جس کی دونوں آنکھوں میں میچور موتیا ہے جن کا آپریشن ناگزیر ہے یہ کسی بیوپاری کا ٹھیلا دھیاڑی پر چلاتا ہے جس سے بمشکل روزانہ کے 500 روپے کماتا ہے اس کے لیے مدد کی اپیل ہے تا کہ اس کا آپریشن کیا جا سکے۔
