*AIMSCon 2025 – First Interprofessional Research Conference*
Under the dynamic supervision of *Prof. Tayyiba Wasim* , first Interprofessional Research Conference – AIMSCon 2025 was successfully organized, with Prof. Shahid Sarwar serving as Chairman Organizing Committee, Prof. Lamees Mahmood Malik as Co-Chair Organizing Committee, and Prof. Shahid Sethi as Chairman Scientific Committee. The organizing team also included Prof. Faiqa Saleem (Chairperson Audiovisual Committee), Prof. Muneeza Natiq (Chairperson Pre-Conference Workshops), and Dr. Farah Siddique (Chairperson Finance Committee).
The conference received an overwhelming response, with *over 400 abstracts* submitted from across Pakistan, representing diverse disciplines including MBBS, BDS, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Health Sciences. From these submissions, *24 abstracts* were selected for oral presentations, while *100 posters* were displayed across two dedicated sessions. The event drew more than *750 delegates* from all over Punjab making it a resounding success.
The conference was graced by Prof. Mahmood Shaukat as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker, and Prof. Masood Sadiq as the Guest of Honour, along with an insightful guest lecture by Prof. Mehwish Arooj. All guest lectures underscored the importance of inculcating a true research culture among students and faculty alike.
Another highlight of the event was that, along with the faculty, the conference was jointly organized by the Student Research Society (AJRS), reflecting the strong spirit of student engagement and leadership in promoting research at AIMC.
In her address, *Prof. Tayyiba Wasim, Principal AIMC,* emphasized the value of interprofessional collaboration in advancing the shared goal of improving patient care.
The oral and poster presentations were judged by a panel of experts comprising professors from various departments, who evaluated the work on scientific merit and presentation skills. They selected the winners and runners-up, who were awarded cash prizes at the conclusion of the event, recognizing and encouraging young researchers in various categories of oral and poster presentations.
*Scientific Sessions*
The conference featured multiple scientific sessions highlighting original and review-based research across various disciplines, reflecting the diversity and depth of academic inquiry at AIMC.
*Session 1* – MBBS (Original Studies)

This session focused on systematic reviews and meta-analyses, emphasizing the importance of research synthesis in shaping clinical practice. The participants demonstrated excellent command over data interpretation and evidence integration. The panel commended the participants for their analytical approach and scholarly depth.
*Session 3* – Allied Health Sciences
