The Industrial Open House at LCWU unfolded as a grand convergence of intellect, innovation, and interdisciplinary excellence. Final-year students from diverse departments proudly showcased their capstone projects, yet it was the Pharmacy Department 💊 that truly captivated the spotlight. With a striking display of ingenuity, pharmacy students presented a range of scientifically crafted products—merging therapeutic value with market appeal. Among the most lauded creations were a rejuvenating Retinol Face Wash, designed to combat acne and enhance skin clarity, and Biotin Cookies, a delightful fusion of nutrition and science aimed at supporting hair, skin, and nail health through functional snacking⚕️, medicated lollipops for anemia : enhancing pediatric compliance.

These pioneering formulations not only drew praise from faculty and industrial guests but also caught the attention of the Honourable Vice Chancellor🤝, who graciously visited the stalls and expressed keen interest—personally taking samples for review. The event brimmed with curiosity and critical inquiry as visitors posed probing questions regarding formulation stability, potential adverse effects, and overall efficacy. With poise and professionalism⚕️, our team defended every aspect of our research, showcasing a thorough command of pharmaceutical principles and entrepreneurial vision.

The presence of distinguished teachers, esteemed guests, and industry professionals elevated the experience, transforming the event into a vibrant forum for academic excellence and innovation💊. For pharmacy students, this was not merely an exhibition—it was a golden platform to transition from theory to tangible impact. It empowered us to articulate scientific ideas with confidence and creativity, simulating the real-world demands of the pharmaceutical and wellness industries✊.

A successful Free Medical Camp was organized for women's health awareness at Lahore college for women university by Faculty of pharmaceutical and Allied Health sciences in collaboration with CMA research laboratory. The primary goal of the camp was to ensure everyone receives accessible healthcare services, with an emphasis on promoting health education and awareness. The event also addressed the unique healthcare challenges faced by women and aimed to provide them with the resources to take charge of their health.

The camp featured a comprehensive medical check-up facility, with the CMA (Clinical Medical Assistance) lab playing a central role in offering free diagnostic services. The CMA lab provided essential tests such as blood sugar and uric acid tests, free of cost. And 50 percent off on all the pathology labs. These tests were invaluable in detecting potential health issues early, enabling individuals to take preventive action. Students, and staff equally got great benefits from these services, which were designed to cater to the health needs that are often overlooked.

In addition to diagnostics, free medicines were dispensed to patients based on the doctor's prescriptions, addressing both acute and chronic health concerns. The camp also provided health awareness sessions, particularly focused on issues like menstrual health, reproductive health, and common female health concerns, ensuring that women received the education they needed to make informed decisions about their health.

University students and faculty were integral to the success of the event. They assisted in the registration process, managed the crowd, and delivered educational sessions, helping bridge the gap between healthcare professionals and the local community. Their active participation, particularly in raising awareness about women's health, reflected a strong commitment to community welfare and hands-on learning beyond the classroom💊.

A special thanks to Prof Dr. Humaira Majeed Khan and Dr. Hafsa Afzal and CMA research laboratory for organizing this camp.
