Preparing the space for my patient’s second Jikiden Reiki session today. Every time she walks back into this room, I’m reminded what a gift it is to be trusted during such a vulnerable chapter.

I’m offering these sessions to a small group of cancer patients as my way of giving back, and each one humbles me a little more. Grateful for this path and for the healing that unfolds in its own quiet way.

Some moments in life shift something quietly within us.
My time in Kyoto earlier this year was one of those moments. Learning Jikiden Reiki in its pure, traditional form opened a deeper sense of compassion in me — especially for those carrying long, exhausting health journeys.

There is a kind of heaviness that the body holds when someone is living with chronic illness or going through cancer treatment. A heaviness that medicine supports, but the heart still feels.

Jikiden Reiki does not replace treatment, and it does not promise cure.
What it can offer is something gentler:
a little ease, a softer breath, a calmer nervous system,
and a moment where the body feels supported instead of struggling.

In honour of this calling, I’m opening a few complimentary support sessions each month for individuals who may need this softness — a safe space to rest, release, and feel held for a while.

From Kyoto to Osaka — what a journey this was! 💫
Kyoto truly stole my heart — the calm of Fushimi Inari, the sacred energy of Mount Kurama, the gentle beauty of Nara, the charm of Arashiyama, and the lively Nishiki Market — every moment felt alive.

The laughter, the train chases, wandering through tiny streets, wearing a kimono, and yes… accidentally eating an octopus 🐙 — each memory still makes me smile.

I met the most incredible people — Katie, Anna, Maria, Hanna, Kurt, Daniel, Innia, Dr. Priya, IKU, and so many others. (Naming just a few, but truly everyone was wonderful!)

I didn’t get to see much of Osaka — actually nothing at all — I was just a little sad that it was all ending. But maybe that’s Japan’s way of calling me back. 🌸🇯🇵

✨ A dream come true ✨

I’m so excited to share that I’ve officially received my Jikiden Reiki certification — directly from Tadao Yamaguchi and his incredible team at the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Kyoto.

It’s such an honor to be the first Pakistani to train and get certified here in Japan — the birthplace of Reiki. 🇵🇰🇯🇵

This journey was never just about learning another modality. My deepest passion has always been to help people heal — physically, emotionally, and psychologically.
To now be trained in the original, traditional form of Reiki that supports both body and mind feels incredibly meaningful. 🌿

These past few days were filled with wisdom, presence, and pure energy. Being surrounded by beautiful souls from all over the world made the experience even more special.
I came here to learn the pure, original form of Reiki… but I’m leaving with something much deeper — peace, purpose, and so much gratitude. 💖

❤️ has been a space and I created with so much love and intention. 💛 It’s been a special part of my journey, and I’ll always be grateful for everything it brought into my life.

I’ve decided to step back from Heartistry Hub, and from here on, it will be led by Nadia as she continues to carry its light forward. 🌿

Our friendship remains strong and full of love — beyond any project — and I’ll always be cheering her on. 🤍✨
