typhoid awareness and diagnosis with followup medical camp where people were given medicines along with typhoid awareness. In addition, typhoid pamphlets were distributed among the people. During the medical camp, the medical team which included doctors and nurses also checked the common diseases among the people and free medicines were distributed among them.

1) Typhoid fever is caused by Salmonella enterica serotype Typhi bacteria.
2) Typhoid fever is contracted by the ingestion of contaminated food or water
3) Diagnosis of typhoid fever is made when Salmonella bacteria are detected with stool, urine, or blood cultures.
4) Approximately 3%-5% of patients become carriers of the bacteria after the acute illness.
5) Typhoid fever is caused by lack of awareness among the people.
6) Typhoid fever is caused by due to the government's inattention.
7) One of the main reasons for the spread of typhoid is that people do not wash their hands after coming out of the washroom.
