Our recent PCOS Awareness Panel Discussion at Superior University opened powerful conversations about the link between mental health and PCOS. 🌿🧠

From anxiety and mood swings to body image struggles, the session highlighted how PCOS affects more than just physical health, it impacts emotional well-being too.

Featuring insights from Rakia Raza (Psychologist) and Iqra Parveen Awan (Founder, PCOS Helps), and moderated by Uswa Batool (Operations Manager, PCOS Helps), the event encouraged students to speak openly and break the silence around women’s health. 💬💜

The HPV cervical cancer vaccine has now been introduced in Pakistan as a major step toward protecting women’s health. It is designed to prevent the most common strains of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), which is the leading cause of cervical cancer.

The vaccine is being rolled out through school-based vaccination drives targeting young girls, as well as through healthcare facilities for those who miss the school programs. Ideally, it is given to girls aged 9–14 years before they become sexually active, in two doses several months apart. By launching this vaccine nationwide, Pakistan aims to reduce future cervical cancer cases and improve women’s long-term health outcomes.
