*🌟 Empowering Future Leaders – Successful CME Session* – *Motivational Lecture* 🌟
*The Punjab Institute of Mental Health (PIMH),* Lahore successfully conducted a highly *impactful CME Motivational Lecture* on Thursday, 2nd April at ATC, PIMH under the *Visionary leadership of Executive Director Prof Dr Aysha Rashid .*
The session was skillfully *moderated* by *Ms. Aqila Unbrin* (Principal Clinical Psychologist / Secretary CME) and commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, setting a thoughtful and inspiring tone for the event.
A *warm welcome note* and *introduction* of the distinguished guest speaker was presented *by Prof. Dr. Aysha Rashid ( Executive Director, PIMH).*
🎤 The *highlight* of the session was the enlightening Motivational Lecture by *Honourable Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz & Presidential Pride of Performance).*
He delivered an inspiring address to PGRs, encouraging them to strengthen their professional capabilities and vision.
*Prof Dr Khalid Masood Gondal* is a highly distinguished medical educationist, currently serving as *Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Medical University,* and he is serving as *President of CPSP.* He holds a PhD in Medical Education and has *over 100 research publications* to his credit.
Among his *notable recognitions are Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (2013) and Presidential Pride of Performance (2020) awarded by the Government of Pakistan.* He has also received multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards from prestigious institutions including Khyber Medical University, Society of Surgeons Pakistan, PGMI Lahore, and Old Ravian Union, along with the Academic Excellence Award by the Governor of Punjab (2023).
Upon highlighting these remarkable achievements, the worthy guest received a *standing ovation* from the participants as a gesture of appreciation for his outstanding services and contributions to medical education.

• Announcement of 2-year training opportunities in Ireland for PGRs after IMM, with CPSP facilitation

👨⚕️ The session was *further honored by the presence of renowned psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Ali Madeeh Hashmi,* one of pioneers of psychiatry at PIMH. He is widely recognized for his significant contributions to the development and promotion of psychiatry and in mental health awareness.
👥 The event *witnessed active participation* from administrative staff, teaching faculty, doctors, PGRs, and clinical psychologists, making it a truly engaging academic gathering. A great number of participants attended the lecture.
The worthy guest interacted with *Teaching Faculty** including *Prof Dr Nauman Mazher, Prof Dr Saqib Bajwa, Dr Farasat Ali, Dr Ghulam Hassan, Dr Ragina Mehmood, Dr Ali Anjum, Dr Numan Ahmad, Dr Zainab Mehmood, Dr Iqra Shakoor, Dr Rana Nasir, Dr Aneel Shafi, Dr Nadia Haroon, and Dr Khadija* who participated in the lecture.
*Clinical Psychologists** including *Dr Rukhsana Kauser, Ms Samavia Hussain, Ms Alina Naveed, Ms Memoona Khan, Mr Yousaf Raza, Mr Moeen ,Ms Tabinda, Ms Sadaf Saleem, and Ms Yarusha* also attended the lecture and they were also part of organizing team for this lecture.
From *Administrative Staff* , *Dr Ateeq, Dr Romana Ishfaq, Dr Munazza Niazi, Dr Tahira Arshad, Dr Ahmad, khalid Mehmood (DDF) ,Dr Tayyab, Dr Anjsha , Dr Maham , Dr Farhan Jabbar, Mr Javaid chief pharmacist , Dr Bilawal * and *Ms Nasreen Akhtar* Nursing Superintendent participated.
A great number of *Post Graduate Residents (PGRs)* attended the lecture enthusiastically and found guidance for their future.
