Being a woman is not easy in a third world country.
Not only do we deal with the rat race for survival but we struggle to survive amid the ruckus of patriarchy. Crushing women, treating them as the lesser beings and riding over their boundaries is ingrained our society.

Even when all the forces around you are donned on crushing you, the seed of living our best life lies in us. The power lies all inside us. Nobody will step forward to make that haven for us. So dear lady, when the world brings you down, care for your self as it is the secret of getting your power back.

Tips on self-care:
1) Define your boundaries to others: Stop people stepping into areas that offend you and teach people how you deserve to be treated.

2) Focus on your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Eat healthy. Pray. Relax. Know when to stop your head from over thinking.

3) Do what makes you happy.

4) Always. Always have a hobby in life.

5) Hygiene is super important. Shower and pamper your self in the bath once in a while.

6) Smile at the girl standing in the mirror. If she doesn't make you smile, she is not going to make others smile either. Bring that twinkle back in your eye.

7) Wear your confidence. Stay connected with the world.

8) Make up is an art and canvas is your face. Doll up often and appreciate your own self.

9) 15 minutes of meditation are transformatory. Try it! Start with 5 minutes. Its magic when you think about nothing!

8) 8 Glasses of water is no joke. Hydration improves your energy level and makes everyday life better.

9) Chat with friends often.

10) Laugh out loud. Whole heartedly.

11) Hug your kids, spouse and all the people you love so you benefit from Dopamine.

12) Connect with nature for an inner calm.

13) Unfollow accounts/ people whose life intimidate you. People only post their best life on social media. Don't mistake it for all that is in their life. Comparison is the biggest insinuation you can inflict on yourself.

14) Always speak positive for speaking positive brings positive energy back to you.

Raise your ✋ if you are a mom coping with both demons at the same time.

Thanks to December online schooling for 2020 is coming to an end. A very exhausting ride for the mothers and children together.

With the atrocities of the pandemic we all are not in the right heads pace.
Times are challenging and inadvertently it is taking a toll on our mental wellbeing.

There is no shame in admitting if we have felt frustrated, irritated, hopeless, angry, depressed, helpless, scared, oppressed, perplexed, agitated during this year. When they define the new normal, albeit how abnormal it is, it is also part of the deal.

We are sailing in the same ship dear. There days when we will genuinely need help. There is no shame in admitting that you do.
Reach out us, call a friend, get dressed up, pamper your face for a while, talk to your family, practise gratitude. Cuddles, hugs and warmth of a loved one can always lift you up🎈

My dear Tiger Moms,
I have been missing in action since Covid -19. As the pandemic took toll on everyone I also got compromised - physically, emotionally, financially like many of us. We all have our take backs and are still struggling to survive this.

Falling into a pit is easy but springing back into action, this is where the labour lies. I was doomed. I was drained and to one point I had lost it too but a flicker of hope came my way and I grabbed the opportunity. There is no shame in admitting that you need help.
And Allah only helps those who are willing to help themselves.

With directions redefined and more empathy for the mankind, we are back !
