Workshop on Sterilization held at National Hospital & Medical Center

Lahore: The National Hospital & Medical Center hosted a Workshop on Sterilization on 28th December 2025, organized by Kaul Associates, a leading name in Anaesthesia, Critical Care, and Pain Management.
The workshop focused on infection prevention, sterilization standards, and safe waste disposal practices in critical hospital areas. It aimed to strengthen both theoretical understanding and practical knowledge, aligned with modern healthcare protocols and international standards.

Key learning modules covered during the session included, fundamentals of disinfection and sterilization, methods of sterilization, sterilization practices in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), sterilization protocols in the Operation Theater (OT), and safe disposal of waste-based materials.

The session emphasized area-specific applications, highlighting the importance of maintaining strict sterilization practices to reduce hospital-acquired infections and ensure patient safety.
