World Kidney Day at Central Park Teaching Hospital

Central Park Teaching Hospital organized an awareness event to mark World Kidney Day. The event was attended by Dr. Javed Zuberi (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Noor ul Haq (Chief Business Development Officer), Dr. Faheem Usman Sulehri (Head of Nephrology), and Dr. Fawad Shafiq (Medical Director) along with other doctors and healthcare staff.

A symbolic awareness walk was held within the hospital premises to highlight the importance of kidney health and prevention.

On the occasion, free glucometers and blood pressure monitoring devices were distributed among dialysis patients to help them monitor their health regularly.

A significant milestone for Central Park College of Allied Health Sciences as the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) delegation, headed by the President AHPC along with his expert panel, visited the institution for the accreditation of BS programs in four disciplines:

• BS Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
• BS Operation Theatre Technology (OTT)
• BS Medical Imaging Technology (MIT)
• BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics (HND)

These four disciplines mark a valuable new addition to our academic portfolio, further strengthening our commitment to producing skilled allied health professionals and expanding opportunities for aspiring healthcare students.

The delegation was graciously welcomed by Prof. Dr. Amer Mian, Principal Central Park Medical College, and Dr. Arif Ali Rana, Principal Allied Health College — marking another strong step towards academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.

A successful Free Medical Camp was organized at Sarahali Kalan in collaboration with RCDS, where quality healthcare services were provided to the local community.

👨‍⚕️ 200+ patients were examined and treated during the camp.
🏥 20+ patients were referred to Central Park Teaching Hospital for further medical evaluation and specialized care.
