💢 What is Frozen Shoulder?
Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis) is a painful condition in which the shoulder joint capsule becomes tight, inflamed and thickened, reducing shoulder movement.

💪 Practical Physiotherapy Plan (Step-by-Step)
⚙️ Stage 1 – Painful Stage (0–3 months):
🎯 Goal: Control pain & prevent stiffness.
Warm compress for 15–20 minutes, 2–3 times/day.
Gentle pendulum exercises (swing arm in small circles).
Avoid full immobilization — light movement keeps joint alive.
⚙️ Stage 2 – Stiff Stage (3–9 months):
🎯 Goal: Improve range of motion.
✅ Key Exercises (3–4 times daily):
1. Towel Stretch: Hold towel behind your back — one hand up, one down.
2. Wall Walk: Walk fingers up the wall slowly till mild stretch.
3. Cross-body Arm Stretch: Pull affected arm gently across chest.
4. External Rotation with Stick: Hold stick in both hands and rotate gently outward.
5. Table Slide: Slide hands forward on table while sitting, stretching shoulder.
⚙️ Stage 3 – Recovery Stage (9–15 months):
🎯 Goal: Regain full strength.
Resistance band exercises.
Shoulder strengthening (front raise, lateral raise with small weights).
Continue physiotherapy 3–4 times weekly.

🌿 Home Remedies & Practical Tips
✅ Warm Compress:
Hot water bottle or warm towel 15 minutes before exercises.
✅ Castor Oil Massage (روغن ارنڈی):
Gently massage shoulder for 5–10 minutes — helps in natural lubrication & blood flow.
✅ Turmeric (ہلدی) Milk:
Half teaspoon turmeric + warm milk daily — natural anti-inflammatory.
✅ Sugar Control:
Diabetics must maintain fasting sugar below 120 mg/dl — high sugar worsens stiffness.
✅ Posture & Sleep:
Avoid sleeping on painful side. Use soft pillow under arm for support.
