Midland Doctors Association UK celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with orphans at SOS Children's Village Muzaffarabad, sharing joy, care, and togetherness on this special day.
Along with distributing Eid gifts and essential items, the team spent the day with the children and organized a fun entertainment event. The celebration included enjoyable activities, appearances by Motu Patlu and musical night bringing smiles and laughter to all. A special dinner was also arranged for the children.
The aim of celebrating Eid at the orphanage was to make the children feel loved and remembered, and to show them that they are not alone.
Midland Doctors Association UK remains committed to supporting and caring for underprivileged children, spreading happiness on every occasion.

Midland Doctors Medical Institute Muzaffarabad has achieved another important milestone with the start of regular eye surgeries from February 2026.

Midland Doctors Association UK Distributes Eid Gifts to Orphan Children in Muzaffarabad
Muzaffarabad: Midland Doctors Association UK has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities by distributing Eid gifts among orphan children in Muzaffarabad. As part of this humanitarian initiative, gifts were provided to children living at Jamal Foundation, SOS Village, and Pakistan Sweet Home.
The Eid gift packages included special Eid clothing for the first and second day of Eid, shoes, and other necessary accessories to help the children celebrate the festive occasion with joy and dignity. The initiative aimed to ensure that orphan children also experience the happiness and excitement that Eid brings.

Muzaffarabad: Midland Doctors Association UK organized a special Iftar dinner for orphan children in Muzaffarabad, hosting more than 200 children at the prestigious Pearl Continental Hotel Muzaffarabad.
The event was attended by orphan children from Pakistan Sweet Home and Jamal Foundation, who were invited to share the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan in a warm and welcoming environment. Children enjoyed the special Iftar arrangements and spent an evening filled with happiness and excitement. For many of them, it was a rare opportunity to experience Iftar at a five-star venue, making the occasion even more memorable. The joyful atmosphere allowed the children to relax, interact with one another, and celebrate the spirit of Ramadan together.
Organizers said the event's purpose was to bring smiles to the faces of orphan children and remind them that they are an important part of society. They emphasized that children who have lost parental support deserve opportunities to experience happiness, dignity, and care within their communities.

Midland Doctors Medical Institute Muzaffarabad has achieved another milestone! Regular eye surgeries at MDMI have started from February 2026.

(MDMI) Tandali organized a Free Eye Surgical session as part of its ongoing commitment to provide quality healthcare services to underprivileged communities. The initiative reflects the institute’s dedication to ensuring that deserving patients receive proper medical treatment regardless of their financial circumstances.
The camp was led by renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Saman, along with the dedicated medical team of MDMI. During the camp, successful cataract surgeries were performed for patients suffering from vision problems. In addition to the surgeries, an Outpatient Department (OPD) service was also conducted where numerous patients received detailed eye examinations and consultations.
Many of the patients who attended the camp belong to remote areas and could not afford proper medical care or travel long distances for treatment. Understanding these challenges, Midland Doctors Medical Institute provided free medical checkups, surgical procedures, and essential medicines to ensure that these individuals received the care they needed.
The institute continues to stand by its mission of serving humanity by bringing accessible and compassionate healthcare to the most vulnerable segments of society. Through such initiatives, Midland Doctors Medical Institute aims to improve the quality of life for patients who otherwise struggle to access basic medical facilities.
MDMI management reaffirmed their commitment to organizing more such medical camps in the future so that deserving patients, especially those from remote and underprivileged communities, can benefit from specialized healthcare services.
