Bacha Khan Welfare Society (BKWS), Khyber Medical College Peshawar, organized an Awards Distribution Ceremony to honor students for their outstanding academic achievements.

The ceremony was graced by eminent guests Prof. Dr. Ghareeb Nawaz (ENT Specialist HMC/Lifecare Hospital) Prof. Dr. Mahmud Aurangzeb (Dean, Khyber Medical College Peshawar), Dr. Haider Ali Khan, and Dr. Muhammad Shahzad, who inspired students through thought-provoking speeches, motivating them to pursue excellence in academics and professional life.

Prof. Dr. Mahmud Aurangzeb, Dean KMC, described Bacha Khan as a multifaceted personality a man of peace who made immense sacrifices for education and community development. He emphasized unity, stating, โ€œFirst, we are Pakistanis; then comes our ethnic identity.โ€ He congratulated academic high achievers.

Prof. Dr. Ghareeb Nawaz shared his emotional connection with KMC as his alma mater and appreciated the efforts of BKWS, faculty, and students for promoting academic excellence and welfare initiatives.

Dr. Haider Ali Khan highlighted the philosophy of Bacha Khan Baba, emphasizing peace, humanity, education, and social responsibility.

He stressed that along with medical education, students must also develop social awareness, serve humanity, and actively contribute during disasters and medical camps, including initiatives in Tirah and other underserved areas.

At the conclusion, Aftab Wardag, General Secretary BKWS, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all distinguished guests, faculty members, and organizers for their unwavering support and collaboration.

With a boys' trip to Makuli Mayur & Asumbar Pass (Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan) and a girls' trek to Miranjani, Dagri Bangla & Beran Gali (Galiyat), the Hiking Club successfully carried out its yearly expeditions, promoting leadership, teamwork, and resilience outside of the classroom.

The ๐๐Ž๐”๐๐‚๐„ (Building Our Unique Nation through Character and Education) organization delegation was welcomed today at Khyber Medical College for a joint scholarship venture between the said and Social Welfare Society Khyber Medical College; another one in a series of scholarship ventures by the Dean's exemplary leadership

๐๐Ž๐”๐๐‚๐„ is a proud sponsor and aid of deserving and financially struggling KMCites since decades. It is a national level organization with sponsorships reaching globally and boasts proud alumni across the globe.

The worthy Dean Khyber Medical College, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐š๐ก๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ ๐€๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ณ๐ž๐›, alongwith the Chairman SWS ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐…๐ข๐๐š ๐‡๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐š๐ข๐ง welcomed the CEO BOUNCE, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐’๐š๐ฎ๐ ๐€๐ง๐ฌ๐š๐ซ๐ข, US based philanthropist and the MD BOUNCE ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐€๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ ๐€๐ง๐ฌ๐š๐ซ๐ข. Senator ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐š๐ซ was a worthy presence in the delegation.

The Vice Dean, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐จ๐ก๐ฌ๐ข๐ง ๐’๐ก๐š๐Ÿ๐ข, the SWS Senior board Members - ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐ˆ๐ฆ๐ซ๐š๐ง ๐Š๐ก๐š๐ง, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‡๐ข๐ง๐š ๐’๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ฆ, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‡๐š๐ฃ๐ข๐ซ๐š ๐ˆ๐ฌ๐ก๐š๐ช, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐€๐ฅ๐ข ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐’๐š๐ฆ๐ซ๐š ๐…๐š๐ค๐ก๐š๐ซ also accompanied them.

Speaking to the audience of students awardees and SWS office holders, the CEO reflected on his philanthropic journey and reminisced his school times when he first got his early inspirations which led to the foundation of ๐๐Ž๐”๐๐‚๐„ in 2007.

The students were thoroughly enthralled by his talk and pledged to nurture the same virtues. The MD, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐€๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ ๐€๐ง๐ฌ๐š๐ซ๐ข spoke on the financial and legal framework of the organization and thanked the SWS for its pro-active role.

In his closing remarks, the Dean extended his heartfelt gratitude to the ๐๐Ž๐”๐๐‚๐„ team and impressed upon the students how vital it is to nurture philanthropy and the spirit of giving. He also reflected on his philanthropic endeavors.

Towards the end, students were awarded scholarships and a wrist band souvenir of ๐๐Ž๐”๐๐‚๐„. They gave an encouraging feedback and showed a promise of good character and giving back to the society. The ceremony was gracefully moderated by ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐™๐š๐Ÿ๐š๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ก ๐‰๐š๐ง.
