The event brought together passionate voices from all MBBS years, creating a platform where students confidently shared perspectives, ideas, and solutions toward building a more equitable society.

This meaningful initiative was organized through the collaborative efforts of Social Welfare Society ๐’๐–๐’-๐Š๐Œ๐‚, ๐†๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐”๐ฉ, ๐•๐’๐Ž, and Bargad, reflecting a shared commitment to youth engagement and social responsibility.

The competition showcased remarkable talent and critical thinking, culminating in the announcement of our first, second, and third position winners, each recognized for their powerful arguments and confident delivery.

The Undergraduate Research Cell (URC) successfully organized its second workshop for undergraduate students titled โ€œFrom Data to Decisions,โ€ focusing on key statistical methods and essential statistical research concepts.

The session was delivered by Dr. Nauman Arif from Khyber Medical University (KMU) and was attended by approximately 56 students. The workshop aimed to strengthen studentsโ€™ understanding of data analysis and its application in research decision-making.

The level of interest, engagement, and enthusiasm shown by the students was truly remarkable and highly motivating. Participants marked the session as highly beneficial, reflecting its academic value and practical relevance.

The visit included a comprehensive review of clinical and diagnostic services, including OPD, specialty clinics, Pathology, Radiology, MRI, CT Scan, X-ray, Modular OTs, and Emergency departments.

The delegation also engaged with faculty, TMOs, students, and management at Khyber Medical College, fostering constructive dialogue and gathering feedback to further strengthen institutional performance and service delivery standards.

In a significant effort to bridge the healthcare gap for rural communities, Khyber Medical College and Khyber Teaching Hospital - MTI KTH Peshawar recently organized a comprehensive free medical camp in Akora Khattak, Nowshera.

The camp provided a wide range of essential services, including general check-ups, specialist consultations in pediatrics and gynecology, and basic diagnostic screenings.

Residents of the area, many of whom face financial or logistical barriers to reaching tertiary care centers in Peshawar, were also provided with free life-saving medicines.

This initiative not only addressed immediate health concerns but also focused on public health awareness, educating the local population on hygiene and disease prevention, thereby reaffirming KMC/KTH's commitment to community service and the welfare of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Bacha Khan Welfare Society (BKWS), Khyber Medical College Peshawar, organized an Awards Distribution Ceremony to honor students for their outstanding academic achievements.

The ceremony was graced by eminent guests Prof. Dr. Ghareeb Nawaz (ENT Specialist HMC/Lifecare Hospital) Prof. Dr. Mahmud Aurangzeb (Dean, Khyber Medical College Peshawar), Dr. Haider Ali Khan, and Dr. Muhammad Shahzad, who inspired students through thought-provoking speeches, motivating them to pursue excellence in academics and professional life.

Prof. Dr. Mahmud Aurangzeb, Dean KMC, described Bacha Khan as a multifaceted personality a man of peace who made immense sacrifices for education and community development. He emphasized unity, stating, โ€œFirst, we are Pakistanis; then comes our ethnic identity.โ€ He congratulated academic high achievers.
