World Breastfeeding Month, observed globally every August to promote the importance of breastfeeding, was marked at Mercy Teaching Hospital, Peshawar, with a special program organized in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics.
The event, held on Thursday, August 27, 2024, was attended by over 20 doctors from the Pediatrics and Gynecology departments, along with nursing staff.

The workshop was held at the Paediatrics Unit and attracted enthusiastic participation from pediatric and neonatal healthcare professionals.
The workshop aimed to enhance the clinical competency of participants in managing neonates requiring invasive mechanical ventilation. It covered essential topics such as the introduction to invasive ventilation, various modes and settings of mechanical ventilation, ventilator troubleshooting techniques, and interactive case-based discussions.
