On laprotomy of a 26 year old male pt a 30x20 cm mass in the retroperitoneum was discovered encassing Right kidney and abutting Inferior Vena cava (labelled as a spindle cell tumor on previous biopsy). This huge mass was extending superiorly to the diaphragm & inferiorly in right para colic gutter by pushing right kidney inferolateraly, encassing right renal vessels & compressing IVC medially with no involvement of the IVC. Surrounding viscera & vessels were not invaded. Mass weighing 5.3 kg's. Enblock resection of the mass and right nephrectomy done by Dr Muzafar uddin Sadiq separating and securing IVC successfully.
