Yesterday under the instruction of YDA KPK, ward to ward sensitisation was carried out by YDA KCD regarding the sad incident which occurred in HMC ,and elective services withdrawal directions were given ,in case demands are not fulfilled.

حیات آباد میڈیکل کمپلیکس پشاور میں ایک سپیشلسٹ آرتھو پیڈک سرجن سمیت پانچ ڈاکٹرز پر تشدد کا واقعہ پیش آیا۔

ذرائع کے مطابق ٹی بی سینٹر کے ڈائریکٹر مدثر شہزاد کی سرکردگی میں باقاعدہ منصوبہ بندی کے ساتھ ٹی بی سینٹر کے کلاس فور عملے اور بیرونی مسلح جتھے نے حیات آباد میڈیکل کمپلیکس کے احاطے کے عین اندر آرتھوپیڈک یونٹ کے ڈاکٹرز کو ایک حل شدہ تنازعے کے مذاکرات کا جھانسہ دے کر بدترین تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا۔

مذکورہ ڈاکٹر صاحبان کو انتہائی نگہداشت یونٹ میں داخل کیا گیا۔ ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن حیات آباد میڈیکل کمپلیکس کا ہنگامی اجلاس طلب کرلیا گیا ہے۔ بہت جلد آئندہ لائحہ عمل کا اعلان کیا جائے گا۔

ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن کے فیصلے کے مطابق، اس واقعے کے احتجاج میں صوبہ خیبر پختونخوا کی تمام سرکاری ہسپتالوں میں الیکٹیو سروسز (Elective Services) کا مکمل بائیکاٹ نافذ کیا جا رہا ہے۔ یہ بائیکاٹ کے ڈی اے (KDA) سمیت تمام میڈیکل اداروں میں لاگو ہوگا۔ تمام ڈاکٹرز سے اپیل ہے کہ وہ اس احتجاجی عمل میں پوری طرح سے شریک ہوں۔

ہاؤس آفیسرز سے خصوصی اپیل کی جاتی ہے کہ وہ بھی اس بائیکاٹ میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں اور ایمرجنسی سروسز کے علاوہ تمام الیکٹیو سروسز معطل رکھیں۔

کمیونٹی کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتحال اور اقدام کے لئے تیار رہے۔ اس بار کوئی مصالحت نہیں کی جائے گی۔

Press Release. . .

The newly formed cabinet of House Officers YDA KCD held an introductory meeting with The Dean KCD today. YDA KCD also congratulated The Dean KCD, Dr Syed Nasir Shah on his extension as the dean KCD for the next five years. The meeting was Also joined by the members Of Young Doctors Association KTH Peshawar. The following core issues were discussed as part of the agenda:

1. Accomodation issue of KCD TMOs and HOs
2.Shortage of FCPS Slots for Dentistry and Efforts towards its increment.
3.Patients care management issues in KCD.
4. Efforts to build more cooperation among the Paramedics staff, the students, HOs and TMOs of KCD.
5. Highlightenmnet and Active steps against highly the alarming issue of Quackery in dentistry.
6. Issues related to KCD Cafeteria i.e Space, Food Quality and Food prices.
7.Periodontology and Paediatric Dentistry, DCD TMOs High Fee issue.

We are very thankful to the dean KCD, Dr Syed Nasir Shah for his convincing arguments on resolving all the above mentioned issues and for encouraging the young Doctors for follow up meetings.

YDA always prioritizes White Coat Dignity over everything else and Fights for the rights of Patients and Doctors Community.
