Media Information Literacy Training Conducted at Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences

Bolan University of Medical & Health Sciences successfully organized a comprehensive Media Information Literacy training session for students from various departments.

The training was delivered by distinguished resource persons Dr. Alia Khan and Mr. Muhammad Shoaib Dotani, who provided insightful guidance on media literacy, critical thinking, and responsible digital communication.

During the ceremony, Registrar Mr. Syed Aurangzaib expressed his gratitude to the trainers for their valuable contribution and appreciated the initiative, emphasizing that such capacity-building programs should continue in the future.

بولان یونیورسٹی آف میڈیکل اینڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز (BUMHS)، کوئٹہ.

کوئٹہ (نمائندہ خصوصی) بولان یونیورسٹی آف میڈیکل اینڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز (BUMHS) کوئٹہ میں الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز کے 350 طلباء پر مشتمل پہلے بیچ کے لیے Orientation Day گزشتہ روز 20 نومبر 2025 کو منعقد ہوا، جس میں طلباء کو پروگرامز کے اسکوپ، کلینیکل تربیت اور مستقبل کے روزگار کے مواقع سے آگاہ کیا گیا۔ ماہرین کے مطابق بلوچستان میں الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز کے شعبے میں یہ اب تک کی سب سے بڑی انڈکشن ہے۔

تقریب کے دوران طلباء کو فزیوتھراپی، لیبارٹری ٹیکنالوجی، امیجنگ ٹیکنالوجی، آپریشن تھیٹر ٹیکنالوجی، کارڈیک، ڈینٹل اور دیگر الائیڈ پروگرامز کے بارے میں تفصیلی بریفنگ دی گئی۔ فیکلٹی اراکین نے تعلیمی نظام، کورس اسٹرکچر اور کلینیکل اٹیچمنٹس پر خصوصی روشنی ڈالی۔ یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ کے مطابق تمام پروگرامز کی عملی تربیت سول ہسپتال کوئٹہ اور بولان میڈیکل کمپلیکس میں کرائی جائے گی۔

اس موقع پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شبیراحمد لہڑی نے کہا کہ بلوچستان میں الائیڈ ہیلتھ پروفیشنلز کی شدید کمی کے باعث ہسپتالوں، ڈائگناسٹک مراکز اور ریہیبلیٹیشن یونٹس کو تربیت یافتہ عملے کی ضرورت ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ولان یونیورسٹی آف میڈیکل اینڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز (BUMHS) کوئٹہ کے اس اقدام سے نہ صرف صوبے کے ہیلتھ سیکٹر میں بہتری آئے گی بلکہ نوجوانوں کے لیے باوقار روزگار کے نئے مواقع بھی پیدا ہوں گے۔

تقریب میں طلباء نے بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی اور یونیورسٹی کی جانب سے فراہم کی جانے والی سہولیات کو سراہا۔ یونیورسٹی اعلامیے کے مطابق نئے داخل شدہ بیچ کی کلاسز 24 نومبر 2025 سے باقاعدہ طور پر شروع ہوں گی۔

A Proud Moment for BUMHS!
Today was a truly proud moment for the entire BUMHS family. All major TV channels came to interview our brilliant student Bibi Durjan, and even the audience started taking pictures with her.
It’s a historic honour for BUMHS for the very first time, our student was invited to sit on the Prime Minister’s chair, a gesture that reflects great respect and recognition for our institution.

وائس چانسلر BUMHS کا بولان میڈیکل کمپلیکس کا دورہ، فزیوتھراپی یونٹ کے قیام کا فیصلہ

کوئٹہ (22 اکتوبر 2025) — بولان یونیورسٹی آف میڈیکل اینڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز (BUMHS) کے وائس چانسلر ڈاکٹر شبیر احمد لہڑی نے بولان میڈیکل کمپلیکس اسپتال کا دورہ کیا، جہاں ان کی ملاقات اسپتال کے میڈیکل سپرنٹنڈنٹ ڈاکٹر آصف انور شاہوانی، ڈپٹی ایم ایسز ڈاکٹر نسیم کٹکیزئی اور ڈاکٹر سراج لہڑی سے ہوئی۔

ملاقات میں اسپتال کی طبی سہولیات، تعلیمی سرگرمیوں اور تدریسی ماحول میں بہتری سے متعلق امور پر تفصیلی گفتگو ہوئی۔ بعد ازاں وائس چانسلر نے مختلف شعبہ جات کا معائنہ کیا اور مریضوں کو فراہم کی جانے والی سہولیات کا جائزہ لیا۔

دورے کے دوران فزیوتھراپی یونٹ کے قیام پر بھی مشاورت کی گئی۔ ایم ایس اور ان کی ٹیم نے مختلف مقامات کا معائنہ کرنے کے بعد یونٹ کے لیے مخصوص جگہ مختص کی، جہاں جلد جدید تقاضوں کے مطابق فزیوتھراپی کی سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں گی۔

ڈاکٹر شبیر احمد لہڑی نے اسپتال انتظامیہ کی کارکردگی کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ بولان میڈیکل کمپلیکس صوبے کا ایک اہم تدریسی و علاجی ادارہ ہے، جس کی بہتری سے بلوچستان میں طبی تعلیم اور صحت کی خدمات کے معیار میں نمایاں بہتری آئے گی۔
