Allama Iqbal ne 1930 me idea diya ke Muslims ka alag mulk hona chahiye. Phir Muhammad Ali Jinnah ne Muslim League ko lead karke Muslims ke rights ke liye struggle shuru ki.

23 March 1940 ko Lahore Resolution pass hui jisme decide hua ke Muslim-majority areas ka alag mulk banega. Saat saal ki mehnat, protests, aur sacrifices ke baad — 14 August 1947 ko Pakistan azad hua.
