Treatment Plan

Our treatment duration for drug addicts is of 3 months but the duration may vary to the client’s recovery. The plan has been divided into three major steps which are;

1. Detoxification
In this step we the client receives medications against withdrawal. Symptoms occur after using stops that specific drug.

The client receives medications to control his craving as well. Detoxification period goes for 25 to 30 days which starts immediately after admission of client in the trust

2. Rehabilitation
This step starts after detoxification period this rehab period goes for 30 to 80 days. This step contains spiritual days. This step contains spiritual development (12 steps recovery program organized by American psychiatric association in 1935).

3. Psychological &counseling Sessions
In this step the client receives/attend 4 individual therapeutic sessions & 1 family session for the sake of family orientation and establishment in interpersonal relationship.

Religious Therapy
The Islamic therapy solely cures a victim of drugs through spiritual healing courses that involve the victims and their immediate family members and friends. Some of the functions of the Islamic therapy include:

Curing the victim spiritually from within
Restoring faith in God
Regaining confidence enough to confess his or her feelings before God
Complete submission to Allah.
Teaches an individual overcome the root cause that led to drugs be it a family issue, stress, peer pressure, work pressure, anxiety, failed relationships, depression etc.
Instills a fear of God within the affected soul so that there are lesser chances of relapse once the individual comes out of alcohol addiction. They will now think twice before becoming alcoholic again as this will now look like a sin to the victim.

Why people use Drugs?

Many people use drugs just to escape physical an emotional discomfort and pain. Drugs temporarily relax and enhance a bit confidence and feeling of depression. They start smoking to deal with stress to enhance energy and confidence at school or at home.

In some cases, they start using sleeping pills to take a constant sleep and start taking painkillers allay their severe back pain. It is also observed that due to some injury or physical disorder like migraine, epilepsy and some sort of pain they start self medication and gradually become addict to overcome their physiological reasons. But while the drugs might make the people feel better for a limited time, it ultimately backfires. Using drugs for a long time brings its own disasters in shape of major disturbance to normal daily life and functionality. The drug hits their physical, psychological, social activities and becoming more harmful as they increase the dose to overcome and find ways to escape their all above mentioned problems.

Family Intervention

“Addiction is a disease not a habit”

God forbid if any member of your family gets sick with a common or life threatening disease-you’ll take him/her to a doctor. And if need be so get the patient admitted. You will be ready to spend any amount of money to save the life of the loved one. Even, if the disease is incurable. BUT…if you are an addict or suffer with some kind of psychological disorder-you are never considered a patient-but a PARIAH!

This is where you need Devotion to declare that, “addiction is a disease not a habit.”

Remember! Only 2% of any drug addicted or psychological patients voluntarily dare to consult for the treatment and visit rehab center or psychiatrist. Rest of the 98% who unwittingly are killing themselves are dependant on their families. There last hope is you-The Family.

Then the question arises that, who’ll take the lead? The answer is simple-The Family.

So, remember that the family is responsible for their love ones to be treated and to get rid of suffering which is going to spoil the whole structure of family relation. So, Family Intervention is a key to step in to show their care and rehabilitation for their loved ones.
