During the training program organized by STEP in collaboration with UNFPA, Miss Maria Qureshi shared valuable insights on addressing gender-based violence (GBV) faced by women with disabilities. 🌍💪

She highlighted how institutions, NGOs, and service providers can play a key role in supporting and empowering women with disabilities, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected. This session was an important step toward building inclusive systems that respond to the challenges of GBV with sensitivity and action. ✨🤝

It is a great honor to participate in the Asian Regional Disability Summit and represent the National Forum of Women With Disabilities as a speaker. I spoke about the gender and disability situation in Pakistan. The event was organized by International Disability Alliance and ASEAN Disability Forum .
