Spreading the knowledge and skills of basic and advaced cardiac life support, the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology and National Institute of Heart Diseases (AFIC-NIHD) has been involved in CPR training for more than 2 decades. Since its accreditation by the American Heart Association, the save life training center of AFIC-NIHD has become the only center running regular AHA-certified courses in Rawalpindi-Islamabad region.
