🌟 Thalassaemia Awareness & Screening Interactive Session at University of Sindh 🌟
Alhamdulillah! Another remarkable milestone achieved by SINDH BLOOD TRANSFUION AUTHORITY .
An impactful and awareness-driven intraction session was successfully organized at University of Sindh, in collaboration with PREEN RASOOL THALASSAEMIA CARE TRUST(PRTCT) and powered by Helix Pharma.
💉 During the event, free Thalassaemia screening and voluntary blood donation drives were conducted by PRTCT— where hundreds of university students came forward to donate blood for Thalassaemia children and get themselves screened. Their enthusiasm and compassion truly reflected the spirit of humanity and hope for a healthier future. ❤️
While the session was moderated by Mr.adeel Azhar, a well known broadcaster and television host.
🎙️ The session was graced by Prof. Dr. Fatah Muhammad Maree, Vice Chancellor, University of Sindh, and Dr. Dur-e-Naz Jamal, Secretary SBTA, who appreciated the efforts of the organisers and highlighted the importance of youth participation in eradicating Thalassaemia from Sindh.
👨⚕️ In-charges of various Thalassaemia Centres and blood experts from hyderabad Sindh also joined the session and shared their valuable insights on improving blood safety, donor motivation, and Thalassaemia prevention.
This collaborative effort marks a big step towards creating awareness, promoting safe blood practices, and ensuring a Thalassaemia-free Sindh in the future.
