Talagang Talagang Talagang is the administrative centre of Talagang Tehsil, one of the three tehsils (administrative subdivisions) of Chakwal District.

The tehsil is divided into 23 Union councils, two of which from the city of Talagang.There are approximtely 84 villages under the tehsil administration of Talagang.

It is also believed that the city of Talagang started to spread from originally this mosque so this mosque is also often referred as the starting point of Talagang . It is stated that originally Talagang consisted of this mosque and a few homes surrounding this mosque .
