A one-day seminar on “Dengue Fever: Awareness, Prevention and Treatment Strategies” was organized by Umbrella Health and Education System (UHES) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 11, 2025, at the Multipurpose Hall of Noor Nursing College, Swari Buner.

The seminar commenced with the Host Speaker, Dr. Shahroz Khan, Assistant Professor KMU/UHES, who formally presented the theme of the session.

The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Jamshid Ali Khan, Worthy Vice Chancellor, The University of Buner. The distinguished Guests of Honor included:

Dr. Amir Taj Khan, Medical & Sugar Specialist, FCPS Internal Medicine, MPH, with certifications in Endocrinology and Critical Care

Dr. Bahar Ali, Orthopedic Specialist & Deputy Medical Superintendent, DHQ Daggar Buner

Dr. Haroon Rashid, Provincial Drug Inspector, Buner

Dr. Farooq Sayyar, Medical Officer & Coordinator, District Control Program

Mr. Kausar Saeed, Senior Lecturer, University of Buner

Mr. Shah Jahan, Subject Specialist & President AKSA

All the honorable speakers emphasized the importance of awareness, prevention, and community-level control of Dengue Fever, highlighting strategies for effective management and public health safety.The questions Answers session was fruitful.

The seminar was well attended by the faculty and students of Noor Nursing College and Farooq Nursing College, who actively participated in the discussions.

At the conclusion, Mr. Rafiq Khan, CEO, and Mr. Jawad Khan, Managing Director, extended a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to the Chief Guest, Guests of Honor, and all participants for making the event a success.

Their appreciation of our efforts in health and education, along with their words of encouragement, mean a great deal to us. We are especially thankful for their recognition of the humanitarian services of Farooq Memorial Trust during the recent natural calamity in terms of flood, where the Trust organized Medical Camps, Ration Camps, and actively participated in the rescue of casualties.

Farewell Note
Today, on 27th August 2025, we bid farewell to Mr. Syed Ihsaan Shah, serving as Media Manager and P.S to the Managing Director, Umbrella Health & Education System. He is leaving us to pursue his higher studies in South Korea.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for his dedication, commitment, and valuable contributions to the institution. While his presence will be greatly missed, we are proud of his pursuit of academic excellence and wish him great success in this new journey.

May this new chapter bring him growth, achievements, and countless opportunities.
