There are currently 12 vaccines in the EPI program, Now Pakistan Government including 13th vaccine in EPI list "Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine" by Support of WHO .
This will be a single shot vaccine for girls only from age 9 to 14 years

In a progressive move towards better healthcare and disease prevention, the Pakistan Government has made the decision to introduce a 13th vaccine into this distinguished list. This new addition is the "Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine," which is specifically targeted at protecting young girls from the age of 9 to 14 years against the HPV virus, a significant cause of cervical cancer. Administered as a single-shot vaccine with a 0.5 ml prefilled injection, it will be given on the left deltoid muscle. This initiative signifies a critical step in enhancing public health and safeguarding the future well-being of young females in the country.
