Founding chairman of “Diabetes Pakistan” Datu kashif Riaz was invited by Prof Dr Hafiz Ghulam Mahyudin to his Abre Karam studio during his recent visit to Pakistan.

Dr sb is a well known religious scholar and makes his appearances on tv channels. He briefed about the great projects he has been working on and also offered his full support to the diabetes project.

Datu kashif Riaz thanked him for his kindness and support. Both agreed to do collaborations on any projects for the betterment of the society.

University of Sialkot signed an MoU with Diabetes Pakistan . The purpose of the collaboration was to create awareness for healthy lifestyle and diabetes patients care. Mr. Faisal Manzoor, Chairman BoG, USKT and Mr. Datu Kashif Riaz , Director Diabetes Pakistan signed the agreement. Mr. Muhammad Rehan Younas, Executive Director, Dr. Aslam Dar, Interfaculty Dean, Dr. Nauman Idrees, Dr. Rukshanda Saleem and others also graced the event by their presence.

Experts say teplizumab marks a "new era" in treatment, tackling the root cause of the condition for the first time, rather than just the symptoms.

اکیسویں صدی میں تیزی سے بڑھنے والے امراض میں سے ایک ذیابطیس ہے جس میں گزشتہ بیس سالوں میں تین گنا اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

- دنیا بھر میں 53 کروڑ 6 لاکھ افراد ذیابطیس کا شکار ہیں
- پاکستان میں پر سال2 لاکھ افراد ذیابطیس کی وجہ سے معذور ہو جاتے ہیں
- پاکستان میں اس وقت 3 کروڑ 30 لاکھ سے زیادہ ذیابطیس کے مریض ہیں
- کھانے کے اوقات مقرر کریں
- کھانا اپنے نظام انہضام کے مطابق کھائیے
- صبح کی سیر کو معمول بنائیں
- ٹوٹکوں سے پرہیز کریں
