Guys check this out. Night sky tonight is showing an optical illusion
This is a 22° lunar halo.
What you’re seeing
The bright object in the center is the Moon.
Around it is a large, perfect circular ring — this is the lunar halo.
It forms when moonlight is refracted through ice crystals in high-altitude cirrus clouds.
The radius of this halo is about 22 degrees, which is the typical size caused by hexagonal ice crystals.
The small bright dot to the lower left of the Moon is likely a star or planet (often Jupiter or Venus if they are close).
What it means
This is a natural atmospheric optical phenomenon.
It often suggests that moisture is increasing in the upper atmosphere and may be followed by rain in the next 24–48 hours, though not guaranteed.
