AMSA PUMS International Chapter

AMSA PUMS International Chapter For US-bound PUMS students, medic & other, interested in US healthcare & education. To inspire a COMMUNITY of aspiring physicians through Education & Advocacy.

For physicians-in-training at ALL LEVELS, from pre-med all the way up to licensed physicians, and our close associates in healthcare, e.g., pharmacists, physiotherapists, in the Poznan University of Medical Sciences community. The PUMS chapter of AMSA seeks to create a sense of community, connecting our local grassroots initiatives and uniquely US-focused needs with the largest association of American medical students. We are guided by the 6 points of the US national AMSA mission statement (see below). We advocate on behalf of medical students & other trainees at the levels of medical training; & for quality improvements of the healthcare for which we are responsible to provide.

📢🥳 Come and cheer your friends and volunteer at the Poznan Half Marathon on Sunday, April 19th from 7:00 - 14:00! 🏃🏃‍♀️💨

Our volunteer groups will be at the nutrition point 💦🍫 and medical point 🩺
Each volunteer will receive a shirt, ID, nutrition package, free public transport, and TWO certificates. 🚏📜

Number of available spots: 25 spots at the nutrition point and 5 spots at the medical point.

Sign up sheets will be linked in our bio and open on Thursday, March 26th at 6:00 PM 👆You will be added to a WhatsApp group with other volunteers to receive more information. Stayed tuned!

Hear from our largest matching class since 2024 and learn everything you need to know about securing U.S. electives and successfully applying for the Match.

The evening will begin with a 20-minute overview covering key steps, timelines, and general advice. Afterward, the event will transition into an open networking session, where you can visit specialty-specific booths and speak directly with students who applied in your field of interest.

Specialty booths will include 7 different fields, as well as information for those interested in applying to Canada 🇨🇦.

Join us this Christmas season for a heartwarming volunteer opportunity at Szpital Kliniczny im. Karola Jonschera! Put on your favorite festive outfit and bring some holiday cheer to the children in the hospital. Visit us on Tuesday, December 16th at 4:00 PM 🎅✨🎁
