We’re thrilled to announce Dr Andrzej Eljaszewicz, PhD, as one of our featured keynote experts at this year’s ImmunoBridge Conference!

🔬 Session: Hypersensitivity
As a leading medical biotechnologist and immunologist, Dr. Eljaszewicz brings a powerful blend of expertise, innovation, and scientific vision to the stage. He currently serves as:
✨ Director of the Centre for Regenerative Medicine at the Medical University of Białystok
✨ Head of the Tissue and Cell Bank at the University Clinical Hospital in Białystok
✨ Editor-in-Chief of the Central European Journal of Immunology
✨ Secretary of the Immunology Section at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI)

His research group is known for its dynamic, forward-thinking approach to translational immunology and regenerative medicine. 🌉 ImmunoBridge Keynote Speaker Spotlight 🌉
Talk Title: Lymphoid Tissue Fibroblasts in Immunity and Infection

We’re excited to announce Dr Katarzyna Sitnik as a keynote speaker at ImmunoBridge 2026! 🔬✨

Katarzyna studied biotechnology at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and earned her PhD in biomedicine from Lund University in Sweden. She continued her scientific path through prestigious research centres—completing postdoctoral training in immunology at the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen and in virology at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research in Germany.

Since 2024, she has been a tenure-track assistant professor and research group leader in stromal cell biology at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna. Her research integrates fibroblast biology, immunology, and virology to uncover how stromal cells shape immune responses and host–microbe interactions.

📣 Meet our first keynote speaker!
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Ondřej Štěpánek will join us as a plenary lecturer at ImmunoBridge – Polish Young Immunologists 1st Symposium, taking place on 17–20 March 2026 in Wrocław, Poland 🇵🇱

Dr. Štěpánek is a leading expert in T cell receptor (TCR) signaling and adaptive immunity, with over 15 years of groundbreaking research experience. His work has significantly advanced our understanding of how T cells make fate decisions — from thymic development to effector and regulatory functions.

As the head of the Laboratory of Adaptive Immunity at the Institute of Molecular Genetics (IMG) in Prague, Dr. Štěpánek and his team have uncovered:
🔹 Unique mechanisms of co-receptor–bound LCK function in T cells
🔹 A novel IL-17 receptor subunit driving autoimmune pathology
🔹 Key processes maintaining self-tolerance and T-cell diversity

His achievements include prestigious ERC Starting and Consolidator Grants, EMBO Installation Grant, and numerous awards recognizing his leadership in immunological research.
