📢 We are honored to announce the invited speaker Dr. Samra Pjanić, MD, PhD, Institute for Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Surgery “Dr. Miroslav Zotović”, Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Dr. Samra Pjanić is Specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Foča; Professor at College of Health Science in Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Academic and Professional Background
Dr. Samra Pjanić is a medical doctor and specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation with over 13 years of professional experience. She obtained her specialization in 2016 and completed her doctoral degree in 2022 in the field of brace treatment of idiopathic scoliosis. She has been actively involved in education, research and clinical practice, with extensive expertise in the management of idiopathic scoliosis and other spinal deformities in children. She has been the President of “ScoSym” Symposium on the Treatment of Spinal Deformities in 2025.

Dr. Pjanić actively participates in international scientific projects, conferences, and professional education. Her research interests include conservative management of idiopathic scoliosis, innovative imaging methods, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation strategies. She is committed to advancing clinical practice through evidence-based approaches and international collaboration.

📢 We are honored to announce the invited speaker Dr. Theodoros B. Grivas

Dr. Theodoros B. Grivas, MD, PhD, is an esteemed orthopedic and spinal surgeon. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1978) in Central Macedonia, Greece. After completing his training in general surgery, pediatric, and adult orthopedics and traumatology in Greece, he earned his MD diploma. He later obtained a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece.

Dr. Grivas gained international experience working at the University Hospital, Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, and Harlow Wood Orthopaedic Hospital, Mansfield, UK, under the guidance of Mr. J.K. Webb and Professor R.G. Burwell. In Greece, he served at Evangelismos and Thriasio Hospitals in Athens, holding the position of Director of the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Thriasio for five years.

A dedicated member of the Hellenic Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, Dr. Grivas is also affiliated with numerous scientific societies.
