Nuestro equipo en Guaynabo:
Limary Crespo posee un doctorado en Audiología y una maestría en Educación en Salud Pública del Recinto de Ciencias Médicas de la Universidad de Puerto Rico. También posee un Certificado de Competencia Clínica en Audiología (CCC-A) y un Master Certified in Health Education Specialist (MCHES).

Su historial laboral incluye más de 10 años de experiencia en la red de los Centros de Salud 330 en Puerto Rico, incluyendo capacitación en el Modelo de Hogar Médico Centrado en el Paciente desde el inicio de la transformación del modelo de atención en Puerto Rico. La doctora Limary Crespo está comprometida en proveer un cuidado de salud de alta calidad a todos sus pacientes, con empatía y profesionalismo.

Vianca Mendez; coordinadora de atención al paciente, estudió en la Universidad de Puerto Rico en el Recinto de Río Piedras y en el Recinto de Ciencias Médicas. Ha estado trabajando en el campo de la salud por más de 15 años. Su pasión siempre ha sido asistencia directa con doctor(a), en sala de operaciones y asistencia directa con el paciente. Siempre con mucha empatía, totalmente dirigida al servicio. "Commitment to helping others" Ha tenido experiencia adiestrando a otros profesionales de salud y participar en actividades de alcance comunitario.

Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the contributions of Americans tracing their roots to Spain, Mexico, Central America, South America and the Spanish-speaking nations of the Caribbean. In 1968, Congress set aside a week for this observance and two decades later expanded it to a month stretching from September 15 to October 15. The timing is historically significant as September 15 is the anniversary of independence in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. The designated period is also a nod to those from Mexico and Chile, which celebrate their independence September 16 and September 18, respectively.

Do you know why we observe Labor Day in September? For one, September 5, 1882 is when over 10,000 workers had a planned unpaid leave from work. These 10,000 individuals organized a march from City Hall to Union Square in New York City. Though, it's important to note that the date for this event wasn't chosen for any specific reason. Peter J. McGuire, the organizer of the parade on that day, stated that the reason for choosing September was only due to the fact that it fell "between the Fourth of July holiday and Thanksgiving," according to Brittanica. In 1884, the Knights of Labor union decided that they would continue on with the September tradition, just changing the date to be "every first Monday" instead of being locked down to September 5.
