Hi! It’s me, Mario!
Kidding — it’s Karen, the person behind this account and all Sauca Botanicals products. Here’s a picture of me from a while back, when I had just started moving our workspace into my new home.
I’m a mom to a 19-month-old, and everything in my life feels different: bigger, heavier, happier, more challenging, and somehow slower too. Children have a way of slowing down your rhythm and reconnecting you with the present moment. This has been challenging as a business owner but so rewarding as a person who constantly rebels against the fast and anxious ways of the world.
If I take a bit longer to reply, answer, or ship your order, I’m probably trying to figure out how to create the best possible life for a growing toddler while keeping up with everything else. I’d love to be — and project — a perfectly functioning, big business, but in reality it’s just me, a small home, a small business, and a small kiddo. So, bear with me!
We’re also bringing on more help and STILL rethinking our business efforts so they better fit this new season of life.
