How many of you hate grocery shopping?🙋🏼‍♀️

Don’t know what to buy?

Never stick to your list?

Hard to find the time to do it?

So many lines! 🙅🏻‍♀️

I feel you! I personally hate grocery shopping! It is one of my least favorite chores,

but if I don’t do it  then I cannot set myself and my family up for a successful week of healthy eating.

Well I have something to TELL YOU!

It DOESN’T have to be COMPLICATED! ✨🎉

Here are some quick and easy tips to stick to while grocery shopping to make it less painful lol.

1: Have a list or an idea of what you are getting. You can plan your meals out before going.
2. Stick to the outside of the grocery store–if it comes in a box–most likely it has a ton of preservatives in it that you don’t need. Stick to whole foods. Veggie/fruit aisle, dairy, and protein sources (meat, poultry, and fish)
3. Don’t go hungry–I’ve made this mistake one too many times- first you buy more than you need, second you succumb to those food cravings!

3 Lessons I learned from judging my body harshly in the mirror.

Have you ever looked in the mirror and cringed?

“I wish I didn’t have fat here, I wish I looked like someone else, you need to lose the fat around your belly.”

You would never say these things to someone else, but we all seem to say it to ourselves.

Here are 3 lessons that I have learned throughout my fitness journey about my attitude towards my body.

1. My body is my temple and it's natural to go through ups and downs, that is part of the process, enjoy the journey.

2. Judging my body doesn’t change anything about my body, it only gives me a negative mindset and lower self esteem. Instead I think of all the powerful amazing things my body has done for me throughout my life.

3. Every body is different, learn to appreciate the one you have. I have learned to appreciate other women’s bodies, which there is nothing wrong with that, but I also have learned to appreciate my own and love myself. If I see a women’s body that I envy, I say one thing that I love about my own body.

So the bottom line is….Learn to love yourself and cherish all the experiences your body has gone through!

You are beautiful!
