On Sunday, November 23, we gather again for the 7th edition of our grief workshop - Making Space for Grief.
I am quietly proud of how this space keeps evolving. Each time it grows with the people who join, the stories shared, the different shapes grief takes, and all that I continue to learn through this work.
Last time we filled the room, and something became very clear: spaciousness matters. Time to slow down, breathe, reflect, share, and experience the practices fully. So this month we will keep an even calmer rhythm, extending the workshop with 1 extra hour, to be with more room for presence and integration.
I will also be working more with co-facilitators in these sessions, and I’m happy to welcome Danielle Riegel again. She is a professional harpist and Qi Gong teacher. Her gentle sound and sharing brought a softening to the group that many spoke about afterwards.
Something that touched me last time was how people felt comfort in seeing that grief takes so many forms. The loss of a partner, a parent, a relationship, a pet, a sense of identity, or the living loss of a loved one slowly disappearing into Alzheimer’s.
Grief is universal, yet so uniquely ours. And there is healing simply in being together.
