My patient sent me this photo a year on from his procedure of camouflage tattooing to update me. I love getting these messages and the contact I still have with these patients even a year after they’ve seen me. Medical tattooing is more than just a tattoo. It helps those effected by scarring to feel confident and restore self esteem where it has been shattered.

In this particular situation, the had a white halo and to blend in naturally with the skin tones , I used a water colour tattoo technique to give a soft blend back into the hairline.
These results are healed after one session.

Subtle changes. Normally this clients eyebrows are white. We tinted them first to see where the natural brow shape was before using the microblading technique to follow the natural brow.

My not so little man. 💕How time passes us by. It’s like our lives have sped up and there is nothing we can do to slow it down. I watch you grow in front of my eyes. You’re still a messy eater but you manage to make me laugh everyday. 😂

When camouflaging scars, you can expect the treated area to go red, just like the second photo. The redness can stay for a few days and as it starts to disappear you’ll be able to see the colour of the pigment. However, It takes about 4 weeks to see the true colour come through and once the area is healed, we can then do a second session to apply more colour or tweak the existing colour to ensure it blends perfectly with the natural skin tones.
