Mike is 89 years old.

And today, he is doing strength training.

In this session, we are working with a circuit that includes:

• TRX
• suspension rings
• rope work
• bar hanging exercises

This type of training focuses especially on upper body strength, something that is not fully developed through systems like Animal Flow.

Is breathing important? We take over 20,000 breaths a day, yet most of us rarely notice how we breathe.

At Empowered Ageing, conscious breathing is more than a technique; it’s the foundation for healthy ageing. 🌿

As we grow older, stress, posture changes, reduced activity and tension can lead to shallow breathing, keeping the body in a constant low-level stress state.

Mike is 89 years old.

Six weeks ago he started his physical activity program with the Empowered Ageing training system.

Today, he is already performing a sequence of movements inspired by the Animal Flow training system — carefully adapted and guided for his age group and individual needs.

Animal Flow is only one part of the Empowered Ageing approach.

Mike is also practicing other movement systems designed to improve:

• mobility
• coordination
• balance
• strength
• confidence in movement

All adapted to support healthy and active ageing.

What matters most is not the complexity of the movement.

What matters is that the body is still learning.

Still adapting.

Still improving.
