... For those in Porto, this video was taken around this time last year at Cemitério do Prado do Repouso. I’m in the UK at the moment, so I’m not sure if the camellias are in bloom yet — but if the sky is clear, it’s definitely worth a visit. It’s one of my favourite quiet refuges in the city.

It’s finally here! Im so excited to finally announce our first collaborative, in-person workshop HAPPY HORMONES 🌸

I love to create workshops which have a deep undercurrent of meaning. Meanings which come about through life lessons I’ve experienced, contemplated and grew from. My good friend (and even better Naturopath) Karin Eden has been a fountain of knowledge and support over the past year and I cannot wait to bring some of that wisdom to this unique workshop.

Invest in your health, embrace your body and discover natural allies that will support your journey to hormonal balance long after the workshop is over.

Comment “HAPPY” for the link and further information 💕

We hope to see you there! 🤍

I received so many messages after sharing my stories on CANDIED ORANGE PEEL & DARK CHOCOLATE I thought I would share the recipe and WHY and HOW this sweet treat is Ayurvedic 🍊

In Ayurveda, there are six tastes:
Sweet • Sour • Salty • Bitter • Pungent • Astringent

Most modern diets focus heavily on sweet, salty, and sour, leaving out bitter, pungent, and astringent notes. It’s when these tastes are missing, that cravings show up — often as chocolate, sugar, coffee, alcohol…. 🫣

This is where candied orange peel with dark chocolate comes in. The orange peel (and dark chooclate if using more than 70% cocao) carry bitter, pungent, and astringent notes, while the candied process gives a gentle sweetness. Combined they cover the six tastes and satisfy more than just the sugar craving…

They bring balance to your palate ⚖️

A small piece after a meal can support digestion, calm the mind, and leave you feeling satisfied rather than deprived 😋

REMEMBER

Eating ayurvedically doesn’t mean living in denial.
It’s not about restriction.

It’s about joyful awareness, choosing foods that nourish both body and mind, and finding balance across all six tastes.

If you’d like the recipe, comment ORANGE below — or forward this to someone navigating sugar or chocolate cravings. 🍊🍫

Jumping on this 2016 trend…

What a year….the kind of year you could only have childless & carefree in your early 30s 💃

It seems I didn’t like to stay still for too long – Istanbul, Morocco, France, Ibiza, Cuba, Georgia…. With a casual marathon run thrown in! 😵‍💫

During 2016 I was living and working in one of my favorite cities in the world, Istanbul. Still very much rooted in the corporate world but quietly planting seeds for future shifts by taking Yoga Teacher trainings and Anatomy courses in my spare time🌱

It was also the year I had a haircut like He-Man 🫣

Looking back at these photos I was struck not by how my life has changed but by the constants. ….

Friends who held me then and still do now.
My yoga practice.
Stevie 🐕 my loyal shadow throughout the last decade (++) and of course…the husband ❤️

Some things evolve; other things anchor❤️

42 today! 🎉🎉🎉

38….39….40….41….42….

Reflecting on the past 5 years of so much change…

38 – After what felt like endless years of study I finally qualified as an Ayurvedic Practitioner. Took the leap to leave corporate and stepped into teaching daily yoga classes and working 1:1 with Ayurvedic patients. A year of sizemic shifts for me.

39 – After a few stop / starts with the pandemic we were able to find our feet with Roam Retreats and hosted some incredible experiences in Scotland, Tuscany, Ibiza. It was a year of travel and deep connections. A year I will always hold close.

40 – Big decisions and moving into uncertainty as I continue Roam as a solo project. Trust was needed when the path forward wasn’t clear.

41 – Hosted my first Porto retreats solo. One pregant (but I didn’t know it yet) the second pregnant and very much knowing it! Spent the rest of the year navigating workshops and courses alongside some pretty grim nausea and fatigue.

And now, 42.

Here with a four-month-old. Breastfeeding. co-sleeping (or not sleeping), holding space for Roam, and still finding my feet — and myself — within this new normal.

This is a reminder that its never too late.

If anything, it feels like this is only the beginning 🤍

In the uncertainty that life with a newborn brings 😵‍💫 I’ve found myself drawn back to the structure and repetition of Ashtanga, after a very long hiatus.
There’s something deeply grounding in the familiar rhythm — a steady framework to meet the craziness this time brings.

During pregnancy, my practice was the opposite. It was wiggly, fluid, intuitive, with very little concern for alignment or form. I moved freely, following sensation rather than sequence.

What I love about MY yoga practise (and Ayurveda) is that the practice itself has the capacity to change, just as we do.

Just because a certain style or approach serves us at one point in time doesn’t mean it always will. That kind of fixed, thinking doesn’t leave much room for exploration (IMO)

The invitation here is FLEXIBILITY — in our practice and in the way we approach it.

To move with the cycles of life, embracing the changes and the wiggly lines along the way.

We are always changing, and not only is that okay, it’s what keeps things alive and interesting ❤️

Life is made up of many ingredients, constantly shifting and rearranging.

What brings me harmony now may look completely different in another season.

Finding balance in our yoga practice isn’t about following someone else’s recipe word for word.

It’s a process of listening, experimenting, reflecting — A willingness to take in what we discover along the way and allow the practice to evolve with us.

This year, slowing down feels more honest for me than setting intentions.

With a three-month-old 👶this Winter doesn’t feel like a time to plan ahead or control what comes next.

It feels like a season to soften, to listen more closely, and to stay with what is already here.

Ayurveda reminds us that Winter is a time of conservation — when energy naturally turns inward, when theme body asks for rest rather than expansion.

When we honour this, growth isn’t forced. It arrives quietly, in its own time.

“यत् पिण्डे तत् ब्रह्माण्डे”
What exists in nature exists within us.

So if January feels slow, heavy, or undefined, perhaps nothing needs fixing.
Perhaps this is exactly what this season is asking of us.
You’re simply in sync ❄️

2025 – A year i will never forget 😵‍💫

This year has been quite a ride 😂 Unfolding in the most surprising, challenging and deeply meaningful way. I’m still unpacking it all 😵‍💫

From hosting my first two solo retreats in Porto, to a beautiful collaboration with , my first online fasting program with . There were…

52 shared insights on our Mondays Moments whatsapp community

4 in person Ayurvedic Potlucks,

Countless online and in person workshops and many many moments of connection, presence and growth.

And then came the greatest gift (and surprise) of them all – the birth of my son Bowie 👶 filing a space we never knew existed, and reshaping everything in the most profound way.

As this year closes, and 2026 begins, my wish for you is simple:

That you feel supported, loved, strong in your body and steady in your mind. That you give yourself the time and care you truly deserve❤️

Thank you for shaping this year with me,

Hayley🙏

As we enter Winter – the season of stillness & introspection – it feels like the perfect moment to reflect on what finding BALANCE truly means in our lives ⚖️

There is no one way to define personal BALANCE. Each of us is made of many moving parts that are constantly shifting and what brings Balance to one person may feel entirely different for another.

Finding what works for us is a constant dance of adjusting, learning, unlearning, falling and rising again.

“Balance is not something you find, it’s something you create.” Jane Kingsford

Meditation, journalling, Ayurveda and Self-reflection offer us the tools that can help meet the ongoing changes of the seasons with Steadiness, Clarity and Balance.

This Winter Solstice session will guide you into deeper awareness through:

🤍Journal Prompts
🤍Balancing Breathwork
🤍A Grounding Guided Meditation

Together we will use the Solstice as an invitation to Pause, Reconnect and Soften into a more Balanced way of being.
