COMO ESTÃO DE CHUVA,
POR AÍ?☔️

Por aqui, melhor.😌
Recebi o telefonema de uma amiga (para fazer uma festa) da primária — a pessoa mais fofa imaginável, ontem e hoje.

Acho que não sabe falar sem sorrir. Só tem palavras boas.❤️
E, por isso, por aqui, a chuva parou.

Para reforçar este mimo, fui reler frases lindas que recebi de uma cliente muito especial do ano passado.

As duas têm o mesmo nome. Fofo!

E sim… sou mimada.
Tive um pai que me mimou muito. Que sorte a minha!

Hoje tenho uma filha e amigas que me cuidam imenso,
como eu “tento” fazer com elas.

E assim estes últimos dias passam. A chuva passa logo a sol, mesmo quando os trabalhamos em frente ao computador, a preparar a festa de fim de semana de uma família que adoro e admiro.

Vamos ser felizes.
Uns dias com chuva.
Outros dias… também com chuva. ✨
Não fiquem nervosos só a tentar ter “piada”.😂

How are we doing with the rain? ☔️

Over here, much better.
I received a call from a primary school friend — the sweetest person imaginable, then and now.

I don’t think she knows how to speak without smiling. Only kind words.
And because of that, the rain stopped around here.

To add to this little moment of care, I revisited some beautiful messages from a very special client last year.

And yes… I am spoiled.
I had a father who spoiled me greatly. How lucky I was!

Today, I have a daughter and friends who take such good care of me,
just as I do with them.

And so the days go by. It’s springtime, even when we spend them in front of the computer, preparing a weekend celebration for a family I truly love and admire.

Let’s be happy.
Some days with rain.
Other days… rain too. ✨
Don’t get nervous, it’s only a joke!😂

EU! EU! EU… e mais eu 😂

Porque há dias em que nos sentimos felizes e realizados.
Por um trabalho que correu bem.
Por um abraço apertado de uma amiga.
Por uma mensagem num grupo a marcar um jantar de Natal.
Por um “LY” inesperado de um(a) filho(a).
Por um passeio de carro com a minha mãe, ao som de Júlio Iglesias 🎶

E depois há os dias menos bons.😅
Por tantos motivos… que todos nós temos.

Nesses dias, lembro-me que o Inverno é sempre necessário.
Para que a Primavera volte a florescer 🌸

Desejo-vos muitos dias de Primavera!
E aos meus… os meus mesmo. ❤️
Os que não me largam nos dias de Inverno
e ficam até ser Primavera outra vez.

Está festa de 49 anos!
Como dizia ontem num jantar de Natal… estava linda sim!

Tudo foi preparado ao mínimo detalhe.
Adorei os centros de mesa com frutas, flores e velas coloridas.

Eu também era convidada, e ri-me imenso quando percebi que alguns amigos estavam a… comer os centros de mesa! 😂
(As frutas tinham uma camada spray para ficarem mais brilhantes e protegerem dos mosquitos.)

Pois… bonito! Mas não comestível! 😌
Um verdadeiro episódio para lembrar!

As minhas queridas hostess lá tiveram de avisar:
“POR FAVOR, NÃO COMAM OS CENTROS DE MESA.” 😅🍇

This 49th birthday party!
As I said yesterday at a Christmas dinner… it truly looked stunning!

Everything was designed down to the smallest detail.
I absolutely loved the centerpieces with fruits, flowers, and colorful candles.

I was also a guest, and I laughed so much when I realized some friends were… eating the centerpieces! 😂
(The fruits had a lacquer coating to make them shinier and keep the mosquitos away.)

Beautiful, yes… but definitely not edible! 😌
A memorable moment, for sure!

My lovely hostesses had to announce:
“PLEASE DO NOT EAT THE CENTERPIECES.” 😅🍇

🌟 Os abajours desta festa foram feitos por uma modelista de quase 90 anos!
Uma das fornecedoras mais simples, talentosas e agradáveis com quem já trabalhei.

A verdade é que não me imagino a parar — acredito que devemos sempre substituir a pausa por novas actividades, novos desafios, novos objectivos. Como dizia o meu querido pai: “quanto menos se faz, menos se quer fazer.”

✨ E é por isso que adorei este projecto. Trabalhar com pessoas cheias de vida e dedicação inspira qualquer produção.

🌟 The lampshades for this event were handmade by a pattern maker who is almost 90 years old!
One of the most talented, uncomplicated and delightful suppliers I’ve ever worked with.

I can’t imagine myself stopping — I truly believe we should always replace “pausing” with new activities, new goals, new energy. As my dear father used to say: “the less you do, the less you want to do.”

✨ This project was a joy, and working with people so full of life is inspiring for any event planner.
