I made a little jar of sunshine…
Fermented raw honey with organic lemon, ginger, and turmeric 🍯🥰👏🍋🫚🐝✨
A naturally probiotic, gut-loving, anti-inflammatory elixir to support digestion, immunity, and overall wellbeing…and it’s super tasty too!😜
No exact measurements required. Just layers of organic lemon slices, sliced ginger and turmeric and a slow pour of raw (unpasteurised) honey.
Add a pinch of black pepper to enhance turmeric absorption, and spices like cardamom, star anise, cinnamon, cloves, etc. for different flavours.
I layered everything into a clean jar, covered it all with raw honey, and left it to sit at room temp.
Every day, I flip it or give it a little stir.
After a week or two, it becomes bubbly, tangy, alive, and full of goodness!🥰✨
I take a spoonful when I need a boost or stir it into warm herbal tea (not boiling!).
Best part…it can store up to 6 months or longer in the fridge, as honey is nraturally antimicrobial.
