I made a little jar of sunshine…

Fermented raw honey with organic lemon, ginger, and turmeric 🍯🥰👏🍋🫚🐝✨

A naturally probiotic, gut-loving, anti-inflammatory elixir to support digestion, immunity, and overall wellbeing…and it’s super tasty too!😜

No exact measurements required. Just layers of organic lemon slices, sliced ginger and turmeric and a slow pour of raw (unpasteurised) honey.

Add a pinch of black pepper to enhance turmeric absorption, and spices like cardamom, star anise, cinnamon, cloves, etc. for different flavours.

I layered everything into a clean jar, covered it all with raw honey, and left it to sit at room temp.

Every day, I flip it or give it a little stir.
After a week or two, it becomes bubbly, tangy, alive, and full of goodness!🥰✨

I take a spoonful when I need a boost or stir it into warm herbal tea (not boiling!).

Best part…it can store up to 6 months or longer in the fridge, as honey is nraturally antimicrobial.

Sending love from this beautiful little corner of the world!😘✨

A last-minute V-Day getaway to this beautiful eco-resort was just what we needed after the whirlwind of the last few months “finishing” (because is it ever really finished? 🤪🙈) our home renovations, moving in, and getting everything ready to welcome our very first, dearest guest. 🏡🥰👏

This move to Portugal has been a wild, beautiful adventure, one that’s challenged, and pretty much broken me (in a good-kinda way😅), and expanded my heart (and mind) in ways I never expected. 🤯🙌

As much as the past year has been about building a home, the real (and very messy) work has been happening within.

It’s in life’s magical little moments and glimmers that I know I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. A quiet knowing that the universe has my back, that every challenge, every leap of faith, is leading to something even more beautiful than I could imagine, like these beautiful moments right here!🥰🙏🌈✨

Here’s to trusting the process, embracing the unfolding, and soaking in all the goodness along the way. 💛

Our home renovations are almost done (finally) so that’s why I’ve been a bit quiet lately!🏡🤪🙈🥳💃🏻👏

It’s been a bit cray-cray, but I wanted to share one of my go-to recipes for busy days like these.

This Eggplant and Chickpea Harissa curry-stew is a warming, nourishing, one-pot wonder that’s so easy to make and perfect for those evenings when you just need a comforting bowl of food.

I always keep fresh organic kale or baby spinach in the fridge to toss into meals like this. It’s an easy way to eat more greens and boost the nutritional value of your meal.

If you’ve read my article, 8 Ways to Make Cooking Easier and Faster, then you know I love using spice blends and tasty pastes/pestos to create flavour-packed meals in minutes. In this recipe, I use a delicious Harissa Paste, which adds so much depth and flavour with no added effort or time!

Do your meals need a bit of magic?🌿✨

My husband and I love making this “chimichurri”…not sure if it’s the traditional way but it’s our spin on it!😜

We love it so much that we often whip up a batch at the start of the week, ensuring we can enjoy it with our salads and meals throughout!

Made with fresh parsley and coriander, zesty lime, garlic and chilli, this chimichurri not only adds a zingy freshness to your meals but also offers a bunch of health benefits.

Parsley is loaded with vitamins and minerals, supporting everything from immune function to bone health, basically a powerhouse superfood!!!🌿💪

Coriander is known for its antioxidant properties and can help detoxify the body while adding a fragrant taste…so not one for the coriander-haters!😅🙈

I love having this chimichurri with my CAULIFLOWER DETOX SALAD I shared in an earlier post. It goes really well with grilled veggies, frittatas and with meats + fish too.

With the weekend ahead of us, it’s the perfect time to prepare chimichurri for barbecues, brunches, dinner parties or make it on Sunday for the week ahead!

Packed with the healing goodness of cruciferous veg, this cauliflower tabouleh salad is a fantastic way to support your body’s natural detox process.

After my breast cancer treatment, I did a 3 month raw vegan detox which involved juicing and incredible super salads like this one!

This salad is also perfect during the follicular phase of your cycle to support liver detoxification and to help balance excess estrogen…which is usually responsible for causing problems like; PMS symptoms, painful periods and heavy bleeding, etc.

Have you noticed during Breast Cancer Awareness Month how much focus there is on screenings and how little attention is given to prevention?🤔

Don’t get me wrong, screenings and self-exams are incredibly important BUT prevention is equally key!👍👍👍

We have more control over our health than we often realise!✨

Through simple lifestyle changes like eating better, managing stress, and reducing exposure to toxins, we can lower our risk in powerful ways!💪❤️🌿

After I decided to heal my breast cancer naturally, something incredible happened!🙏🌿✨

PART 2
…After my first round of chemo, my tumour shrunk miraculously, but I knew there was still more healing to be done!🤍….(💡make sure to read PART 1 in a previous post)

Despite the doctors’ recommendations for more chemo and surgery, including a double mastectomy and hysterectomy due to my BRCA1 gene, I chose a different path, one rooted in the principles of epigenetics and my belief in the body’s ability to heal itself.

For the next 3 months, I wholeheartedly embraced natural, alternative and holistic healing practices and went all in!💪🌿😅🥦

Every minute, every day became an act of self-love and deep healing! Nourishing and nurturing my body, mind and soul!🙏❤️🥰🌿✨

And then, after 3 months, the lesion was GONE! 🙌💫🤩🥳💃🏻

Since then, I’ve focused on restoring my health, strengthening my immune system, gut health, and hormone balance.

Healing is an ongoing journey, like an ever-deepening spiral that reveals new layers with each step.

I feel like a human onion, continuously peeling back layers, perhaps shedding a few tears along the way🧅😅, but discovering more about myself, life, and the incredible wisdom within and around me🥰🙏🌿✨

In the spirit of and prevention, I want to share my personal journey in hopes of inspiring and helping others!🤍🙏

(Part 1) In 2020, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. It was aggressive and fast-growing!
I could literally see it grow right under my nose!🙌

So I decided to begin chemotherapy to slow it from spreading to my lymph nodes and to buy myself some time to explore alternative and natural healing options.

The day before my first chemo session, a healer friend helped me experience a profound shift in mindset. She encouraged me to send love to my cancer cells, embrace forgiveness and to welcome the healing energy of chemo!🤍🙏✨🥰

I visualized my cancer cells like abandoned kids, longing for love and acceptance. From that moment, everything changed! My healing became an act of love, not fear.🤍✨

With one foot in conventional medicine and the other in holistic healing, I started chemo while nurturing my body naturally.🌿

This journey wasn’t just about shrinking a tumour. It was also about nourishing my body, healing past traumas, and learning to trust my body’s incredible ability to heal itself.
