Society's expectations of women can be suffocating at times. We're expected to be strong, yet vulnerable; independent, yet nurturing; ambitious, yet selfless. It's a lot to live up to and often leaves little room for us to show up as our full selves.

We need to remember that it's okay to not have it all together, to not be perfect and to not fit into the mold society has set for us. We have the right to be authentic and true to ourselves.

Let's support each other in embracing all aspects of ourselves, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

One of the most magical things about attending a re:connect retreat is that while we arrive as a group of strangers (from the most diverse backgrounds and experiences), we leave as sisters, having listened, learned, supported and co-create together. There are tears, laughter, play, silence, and gratitude for a gift of finally being seen and accepted by others.
